I was issued one when "The Men's ED Clinic" started me on Trimix. Basic autoinjector, load the needle, push the end against your skin and push the button. That one slammed the needle and drug in fast, too fast. It bruised me a couple times.
There are ones available now that stick the needle in and you push the drug in separately.
If you're squeamish about sticking yourself with a needle it is the best way to deal with that.

Inject-Ease is the one I use. You can get it on Amazon.

I like it because it injects the needle and then YOU can slowly with your thumb push the plunger down at a pace that suits you.

Makes injecting super easy...

I started with an auto injector for about a year then switched to my thumb and direct injection. I found the auto injector gave me too much bruising. After a few injections I’ve found it to be much simpler to do it manually.

I use the inject-ease also. I have a little bit of shaky hands (essential tremor). Before I got the autoinjector, by the time I got the needle in, my hands would start shaking and often the needle would come back out before I could hit the plunger. Ugh!

With the autoinjector, I plump up a bit, find a good target, hit the button, then the plunger - Game On!
