When did cycling start to feel like stretching?

I’m at day 25 with my implant and I’m struggling mentally more than I expected.

I keep seeing people say “just cycle” and “trust the process,” but I need to be honest about what I’m actually experiencing: no matter how much I pump, I don’t get uncomfortable. I don’t feel pressure. I don’t feel a stretch. I don’t feel that “tight” feeling people describe like it’s pushing me to my limit.

And visually? I’m about 3 inches shorter than I was one week before surgery.
Not “a little shrinkage.” Not “it’s in your head.” A lot. It’s obvious. It’s measurable. And it’s messing with my confidence hard.

What makes this worse is the disconnect:
I’m doing what I’m “supposed to do” — pumping, trying to cycle, trying to stay calm — but my body isn’t giving me any feedback that anything is expanding or improving. It just feels like I’m squeezing a bulb forever and nothing changes except my mood getting darker.

It also doesn’t help that I had expressed my concerns about length preservation repeatedly to my surgeon and thought we were clear that I would get the AMS700 LGX but woke up from anesthesia with a CX.

I’m not posting this to scare anyone. I’m posting because I’m tired of pretending I’m fine. I’m tired of trying to talk myself out of what I can literally see.

If you’re someone who went through this stage and it got better, I could really use the truth:
• When did you start actually feeling resistance?
• When did cycling start to feel like it was stretching anything?
• When did your visible length come back, if it did?
• Did it feel “too small” at first and then improve, or was this a sign something was off?

Right now I’m stuck between panic and anger and trying not to spiral, and I just want to know I’m not alone in this part.

Because today?
Day 25 feels like I traded my old body for a shorter one and I don’t even feel the damn device doing what it’s supposed to do.

I never really felt the severe pain from cycling some guys describe either. I never found cycling to be that uncomfortable. I just lumped up to absolute max until the bulb was hard as a marble. Then I bent my penis (ala Perito exercises) and added more fluid when I could.

At the same time I was pretty close to my preop size very early on.

What was your exact measurement (not in a VED tube under suction, just erect) in the days before surgery?

Measured the same exact way, what is your measurement now?

If the measurements of your preop erect penis, NOT inside a VED tube, was really three full inches shorter than you are now, I would be talking with my surgeon about a revision. And I would be having a video consultation with the biggest, high-volume implant doc nearest me.

Sorry to learn of your situation. I was definitely shorter immediately post op but difficult to be accurate because I was left 30% erect for the first 6 weeks. To me visually it looked like possibly 1.5 - 2 inches shorter. I was expecting some initial loss and hoped to gain it back from cycling. Fortunately once I started cycling length started returning fairly quickly. But restoring my original pre ED size took place over several months and I had/still have a fairly aggressive cycling regime. So that growth has been very incremental. I only had significant cycling discomfort in the first couple of weeks. After that only when leaving the implant 100% pumped for probably 40 minutes or more. I did/do feel pressure, plus feel and see the implant stretching.

It doesn't sound right that you aren't really feeling anything. Does the pump seem to be operating correctly?
Are you going from x length flaccid then seeing some increase in size as you pump (even if it's not what you hoped)?
It does sound like you may need to either refer back to your surgeon and/or look for a second opinion.
