Does anyone have the scientific / clinical explanation for the “every other day / three times per week" that is generally quoted?
Is it to minimise the risk of scarring?
I have never found any scientific explanation, even though it is frequently specified as the maximum injection frequency.

Good question. I try to follow the rule, but not religiously, of not doing it in successive days or more than three times a week; but I've never seen the scientific basis for it. I hope we get that answer.

A little Trimix or whatever you're using seems to remain after 24 hours, so your carefully titrated amount might be too much.

I dod injections basically every other day for a year or more. That seems to be about the most you can do safely.

I found this on an ED website -

It is important not to inject more than once every
24 hours unless otherwise instructed by your

Injection therapy isn’t supposed to be used more than once in 24 hrs. So every two days is common sense. Do I need to submit a research paper?

I used BIMIX/TRIMIX for over 5 years, so I'll chime in:

- you do build a tolerance if you use it allot, hence the increasing potency's from BIMIX to TRIMIX

- if you use it alot, you will develop scar tissue , which increases the possibility of injecting the solution into a useless location.

For a person who has sex a couple of times a week, BIMIX is a good solution, because the tiny pin pricks have time to heal and you won't really develop a tolerance fast enough to matter. If you become a fiend and inject multiple times a day...you will accelerate the process.....

I've not heard this before. The reports I usually see are that the medicine does not lose effectiveness but, generally, men's ED worsens so it takes more solution for the same effect. But I doubt anyone really knows.
