6th try, first priapism

Postby Nocturne » Fri Dec 12, 2025 3:17 pm

I think this morning was the sixth time I injected Trimix, and only the 2nd I’ve actually used it to have sex (first three or four were solo missions for figuring dosage). So far, every time I have lost my erection with Trimix almost instantly after ejaculation - although a dull ache and swelling do persist (not quite a “chub”).
Last week my wife was away for a work trip and I was able to masturbate three times. Every time I got a very very nice erection, with no Trimix; and besides that I was feeling really “mellow” for some reason, just very chill. I decided that this was the moment I was going to turn a corner with this thing and start being able to look forward to sex again and not have to treat it like a “high stakes test”.
Well, early this morning, with my wife home, I initiated sex. And it went well - at first. Got hard in her mouth just fine but when it came time to enter her - WHOOPS! Lost it.
I felt the way you feel when that happens and we tried some stuff but nothing worked. Then I thought if my Trimix in the fridge - this is why I had it! So I decided to use it.
I’m on a pretty standard starting titration - I forget the exact numbers but it’s nothing special. I had previously gotten up to 30 units but doc had cleared me to try 32 as apparently the erections on trimix are not really supposed to just vanish as soon as you um. So I tried 32 (might have been closer to 33 as I was freaking out mentally and just wanted this to work).
And we had sex! It was good, although I curiously felt like I kinda could not feel my penis for a bit at the beginning - which may have been anxiety?
Then, when we were done, it didn’t go down. No big deal, this was 4:30 am and I didn’t need to get out of bed until 6:30. It should go down in two hours, right?
Nope!
Didn’t go down when I got up, showered, and got dressed and ready for the day.
Didn’t go down when I drove in to work for 8:00 am.
Didn’t go down at 8:30 am - the four hour mark.
I left work early with an excuse about being sick, and went to the ER (in a roundabout way, it was the third building I was directed to). By the time they actually began the procedure of draining blood and injecting the “antidote”, I think seven hours had passed.
There was a LOT of blood. I do not recommend. Although I’m glad I played it safe and went in.
I’m feeling a lot of things now.
Just thought I’d share. I know a big part of this was just learning appropriate dosage - and I have learned not to go over 30 units!
Have any of you had similar experiences while trying to get “dialed in”?
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".
