New to Alprostadil injections

So about 2 months ago my dr started me on alprostadil injections. The first month was pretty good with side affects not being to over bearing. As of latley they work to get the job done pain free but shortly after I have burning, pain at the injection site and pain throughout my penis. It hurts to squeeze it and to painful to go for round 2. My insurance already approved implant so im still waiting and researching which one I want to go with. Any help would be appreciated. My wife and I are very sexually active and want to keep that going until my surgery. Thanks fellas!

I am by no means an expert but have used Alprostadil in many different form as that is what is prescribed in the UK and I am aware that some people suffer in the way you say and some people with continual use get over it and some don't I use 40mcg which is 2 pre filled injection one each side which gives me a 70% erection and a dull ache for a couple of hours I have just started to try invicorp which is 1 injection and gives about the same quality erection but no ache afterwards so maybe speak to your doctor and see if you can get any alternative injections

Thank you for the reply. Yea I see him on the 18th and plan on talking with him about it more. The injections definitely work but not too fond of them and viagra I just dont gets good of a quality of an erection when it does work.
