Anyone travel international with edex etc?
Hey guys, my wife and I are going Turks and Caicos this week. I really want to take my edex prescription due to the fact any heavy meals or alcohol pretty much makes the pills useless for me. I’m concerned about going through customs with it in my carry on and having delays trying to explain what it is. Does anyone have any experience with international travel or even more specifically this area? I know they can be strict so it has me nervous. I haven’t had much issue in the past with TSA but I know international could change things. Thanks guys.

This has been tackled before on other threads. Its to bad we don't have an algorithm to sort these topics so we don't have so many divergent threads on the same subjects.
Basically I would travel with my thermo's cooler (its very small), with frozen vials in the unit. With my prescription wrapped around the cooler with my prescription attached with a rubber band to the unit. Medications are not a problem if you have them documented. Also the unit I travel with stays with me as the vials are so small there is not problem with TSA.

I agree there are several threads and I apologize but I’m not really concerned with TSA. I fly all the time with my edex and it doesn’t have to be refrigerated. My concern is international and going through customs.

Again if you have your prescription then you should not have a problem, If you are super concerned just take enough so it it is confiscated (highly unlikely) then your not out that much. Sometimes we build mountains in our own heads, completely natural. Don't know what Edex is as I am in Canada and use Trimix.

Thanks for the reply. It’s name brand alprostadil that mixes when you use the syringe so you don’t have to keep it cold.

My wife wants to move back to the UK from Canada. I am not that keen and won't give up my Trimix now. Would have to find a way to take a lot over if I went or some other way to supply from N.A.
