Partial miss?

Postby Newbe@54 » Sat May 18, 2024 6:20 pm

I keep hear the term partial miss? What exactly is that? I thought once you inject into the Cavernosa you’re in the right spot?

I’ve not heard or read that expression often. I don’t recall ever using it.

This, then, is a wild ass guess but it’s coming from a guy who injected for 32 years. Take it’s for what it’s worth.

Once the needle pierced the skin of your cock you can’t see exactly where it goes. It’s not like you’re being guided by watching an X-ray. A lot of it is by feel.

A penis typically doesn’t have a lot (if any) fat on it. So once you penetrate skin your needle encounters no resistance until it hits the tunica. It (the needle) will penetrate the tunica and at that point you ought to be in the corpora cavernosa and it should offer no resistance to you injecting.

In probably 5000 shots I missed the mark less than 10 times. My best guess is I came in at a bad angle and either went all the way thru or glanced off the side of the tunica.

If there was any resistance at all I usually knew better than to proceed but on those rare occasions I went ahead and injected.

Based upon my reaction an injection into the tunica or immediately adjacent to it will allow a small amount of trimix into the corporal bodies. Generally not enough to get a raging erection, but the blood flow would definitely increase in the area and I often got a semi which, with a viagra pill or a lot of stimulation, would work. Think 70% semi.

Also I would usually also experience a 12 hr plus or minus flaccid quite a bit larger than normal. It was sort of like the medication injected caused an increase in blood flow to the entire penis rather than being localized to the erectile bodies.

Not the end of the world. I could usually perform albeit it wasn’t porn star sex. And I’d be a bit more careful the next time.

In my case it seemed to happen when I’d try using something other than my usual 1/2” 29 gauge insulin syringe. A 5/16” needle was asking for trouble.

Thank you for the insight. I too have had a couple of “misses” where no more than a 30% erection occurred. I will try to pay better attention to the feel and judge it from there.

More than likely a partial miss would mean the needle tip is right at the edge of the CC with some medicine reaching the CC tissues and some going elsewhere. This might mean you went ll the way through the CC or glanced off the side of it... who knows, but it can happen. It all works much better if you can use a VED to pump up to a fluffy state before injecting.
Age 66. RALP Jan-2023. Non-nerve sparing.
VED exercise most days, Trimix T-106 (30-1-25), 25 units.
Bending trauma around age 50, resulting in mild Peyronies.
