Trimix duration?

Postby PrimeTime21 » Sun May 19, 2024 6:29 pm

I've had a total of 4 injections so far. The initial shot with the urologist lasted exactly 4 hours and my latest injection lasted 4 hours with it mostly dissipating from the 3-4 hours mark. While this hasn't been painful I'd prefer it dies down in the 1-2 hour range. I took sudafed today not the RX kind and it didn't seem to help much. I'm doing relatively low doses 6-8 units so I'm not sure less would be effective but wanted to get your guys thoughts. For the record I think I mostly have pyschologic ED so my plumbing works ok but I'd prefer it to die down sooner. Should I just live with the 3-4 hours erections and not worry about it? I also sat on a cold pack and that didn't seem to help much. Would a different injectable be better for my situation? Is trimix too strong for me? Thank you.

You're already on a very weak tri-mix. You might try a weak alprostadil mono-mix.

You might need a different compound that is a bit less potent or you cut the dose in half to see what happens(ie 4 units vice 8). Or you could as your physician to give you a different presciption. I think I'd try cutting the dose first. You didn't specify which mix you are on so its really hard to figure what you should do.

I'm assuming that's the mix he's still on - very weak already.

Sorry should have included that information yes I'm on 10/12/1 or 12/10/1. The problem with cutting the dose is even at 5 units I was still partially hard all the way up til the 4 hour mark. At 8 units I got the full erection and it subsided at the 4 hour mark as well. I want to get the full erection but only have it last 1 or 2 hours. Are there different injections that could help this out? I'm going to reach out to my doctor but thought I'd check with the people who actually have experience. Thank you.

Would prescription sudafed help? I hear people mentioning an antidote shot, is that hard to acquire? Effective? I'd like to eliminate more pricks to my dick (no pun intended) but would he open if it's more effective than oral stuff.

This is the best explanation I've found. The pharmacy no longer does human compounding. They only do vet stuff now but the PDF is good:

I'll again suggest an alprostadil (PGE-1) mono-mix.

Would prescription sudafed help?

Pseudoephedrine does not require a prescription, but it is kept behind the counter at the pharmacy, so you have to ask for it and show an ID to get it. I always buy as much as they will sell me about once a year since it's such a pain to get (it's very cheap though). It's great if you have a stuffed up head cold. Even before I had ED (due to prostatectomy) I noticed it always had quite a negative effect on erections.

The off-the-shelf Sudafed is marketed as Sudafed PE, which is phenylephrine HCL. It does not work nearly as well orally, but I did receive a vial of it for injection when I got my Trimix... I've never used it. Both drugs have the effect of constricting blood vessels... and can increase your heart rate. But IMHO, pseudoephedrine works much better all around.

VED exercise most days, Trimix T-106 (30-1-25), 25 units.
Bending trauma around age 50, resulting in mild Peyronies.
