I tried Edex, but it didn't work for me.
Did you Uro show you how to inject.
You might want to try Trimix.
It worked great for me for a few years.

The doc showed me how to inject, also, I watched a lot of videos (and read the instructions in the box).

78 Y/O. Had a few months ED when I was 47 (after my wife died) but I recovered. ED returned with my present wife when I was 72. I tried Viagra, which worked for a few years, then got only semi erections. Edex 20 didn't give a good erection either.

Sorry you're having so much trouble.
Just to add to the excellent suggestions above:

I believe that delivering the solution into the CC is difficult for many. If your anatomy is anything like mine, my penis is kind of loose skinned and shriveled while flaccid. The CC is about the size of a #2 pencil in this state. If I take my finger and press down, I can feel the CC roll around inside. Hitting that with a needle might be quite difficult. The solution for me, is to use a VED (pump) to get the penis into a somewhat full, but not erect state (I use a silicone ring around the base to help with this). This increases the target area and seems to engorge the CC and surrounding tissues enough to hold things in place better. I leave the ring in place for 5 or 10 minutes following the injection, while simultaneously holding an alcohol swab over the injection site and massaging the rest of my penis to distribute the medication. Since my penis is smallish while flaccid, I've also found an 8mm (5/16") needle length to work better. I'm only up to around 10 injections now, but I've only had one miss, and it had results similar to what you describe.

Good luck.

I suppose the best thing to do is go to the urologist so he can observe how I do the injection but he's over 100 miles away, a 3 hour drive through these hills. Gas is expensive too. What I really want is a implant so I've got a consult in August.

I can relate 100%. I missed on my second injection. My wife wouldn't talk to me for two days.
Now, using a cock ring and getting chubby to inject, I haven't missed in over a year.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD

I am sometimes hit/miss as well.

I inject like I was taught (90 deg angle, 3:00 o'clock, slightly below the glans, ensuring there is no resistance).

However, on occasion, it feels like the Trimix gets injected somewhere outside the cavernosa. I can't feel it entering - almost like I never injected at all. Other times, I manage to hit the spot - on these occasions, I can feel the dull ache of the medicine once it enters.

I am using 8 mm/30 gauge needles. Maybe I should try 10 mm?

I'm curious is to what length needle you are using? I use the 5/16th needle and had that happen time to time and honestly I think maybe i should use a longer needle as maybe the medicine is not actually going all the way into the cavernosa.

I'm using 8 mm, which is 5/16", at 30 gauge. I've wanted to try a longer needle (ie - 0.5"/12.7 mm), but can't seem to find any in drug stores (here in Canada).

I may try ordering online:

I found using an auto injector worked best for me .. G/F with shaky hands and me with a belly and a bad hand .. it allows you to carefully put the needle right where u want it. I took G/f with me the the NP they both grabbed my dick and the NP showed her right where .. NP liked the 9 and 3 position ..
