I received my pump yesterday and tried it last night. It is a unique feeling but does work. I would get some pain so I am attempting to use it to learn for a few days before trying intercourse. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. I do not want to hurt the old boy.
I had RRP surgery two months ago and I have started on daily pills of Cialis.

So, how's the pumping going? Any response yet? It should be a lot easier now. In fact, after a couple weeks you should even see a bit of a change in size - a nice side effect. I used mine for therapy only. are you using it for sex yet?

I am getting used to it now. I have used mine for sex. It does help the size which is a side benefit. I don't feel completely hard but it is enough for penetration. I need to order more tension rings and experiment with different brands and sizes. It isn't awkward getting it out before sex. My wife has been great.
I think it is definitely worth the attempt.

Sounds great. you are a lucky guys. Keep using it even just for therapy. A lot of the guys like the Osbon rings, even though they are more expensive. They are more comfortable and easier to get off. Do you experience the hinge effect? Does it change anything?

Explain the hinge effect. I do not know if I experience it or not.
I would like to see mine get a little harder, not quite there yet. Will order more rings sometime this week.
thanks

Several men complain that the erection from a pump ends at the ring. Your dick on the back side of the ring is not erect, and so it flops down - and acts as a hinge - so that you have a great hard on on in front of the ring, but it hangs pretty much down. Some guys complain, cause it doesn't point up or out the way a normal erection would and can make it difficult to maneuver it during sex. When thrusting, they complain that it is as if the dick is on a hinge and you have to concentrate to keep the angles lined up so it continues to go in and not slipping out! BUT I figure any sex at all is welcome for most of us.

Did you pump a few more times after the cock ring is slipped on? Another minute of pumping usually makes it harder..and bigger...than normal.

When you start improving, you may want to graduate to an adjustable cock ring. If you can get a partial erection, then your problem is valves not closing. An adjustable cock ring is cheap, fun and easy. Tighten it up, stroke it, or get some real action on it, and you will usually end up with a very usable hardon. That's a real sign of progress. Meanwhile - enjoy the ride. Experiment. have fun.

When I slide my ring on, I usually lose vacuum.

Looking at the adjustable rings. Do they fit in the same place or do they go under the testicles? Is this better?
thanks

I think it is nearly impossible to not lose some vacuum when sliding the ring on. This is why most instructional videos will tell you to put the pump back on your dick with the ring in place and give it a few more pumps to get it good and hard and big. (When I get this site done, I will have graphic instructional videos on how to use a pump- showing one being used - I just need to find a guy willing to let me video him. Heck it may end up being me - LOL)

The adjustable ring goes around the base of your dick. NOT your balls as well. The kind that go around the whole package are great for porn films and they look great when just having sex - they hold the whole package up and out so it looks more impressive in your pants and as you get hard. It just looks fun. Anyway, the adjustable cock ring goes on after you have a semi-hardon. Tighten it a little bit, keep stroking, then tighten it a little more. Keep stroking - or your partner is helping you at this point. Give it a few more cinches and get it good and tight and by then, you should be ready to go. This is when you are well on your way to recovery and able to get blood flowing in - but it keeps leaking out. Often at the 9 month to 15 month stage. This cock ring is a surgical tube that goes through a small ball or stricture. Sort of looks like a lasso.
Be sure to trim your pubes for ANY of this - either pumping or using cock rings. Shave things up around the base of your dick and it will be a lot more comfortable and better results.

Just found this in my emails, so I looked. Briefly, I am 31 years old and came millimeters from dying last year after years of drinking and getting laid. I finally met the perfect young lady, everything a guy could hope for.About a year and one half into our marriage, out of nowhere,It stopped going erect.Flat out stopped. A few months later, an emergency room visit bedded me for two weeks-I shot my liver out. Took about a year of recovery time. Now, approaching our fifth year of marriage, I bought an Osbond pump. The pills did nothing, shots too expensive, and I had leakage anyway.

I am still working on getting the rings situated, and have tried intercourse with my wife three times, to no avail. I'm not a small guy, just average.Trying again this week. It's a bit odd, but well worth it if nothing more, the intimacy. anyway, I don't want to get boring, just saying hello, and I will definately be on here somewhat often. Great site, thanks to the people that put it together.

Any more progress on the pump? What is giving you the most trouble? Is it finding the right size ring? Are you getting the vacuum OK? The guys who stick with it often stay with using a pump for life. If you get good at it and can get it to work, it can be fun. Remember, practice, practice, practice. Also, one guy told me to practice alone with it for a while. Also, masturbate with the ring on to the point of orgasm. That will give you an idea of the amount of stimulation you're going to need during intercourse. Some guys need extra stimulation and so they add a vibrating cock ring on top of the pump ring. just a thought. Keep us posted
