Do Osbon rings really work?

I've been experimenting with different types of rings. So far the ones that came with my pump have worked for me. They are high quality and just need one to maintain erection. They are a basic circular design with the "wings" for easier removal and even though they do great in maintaining my erection it is harder to ejaculate.

I was wondering if the little notch on the bottom of the Osbon rings does aid in ejaculation or if it's just a gimmick. In reading reviews on the internet there's both good and bad concerns about the Osbon rings.
Plus in reading some comments on this site I notice that some people require using two rings instead of one which seems to me would diminish the value of the bottom notch when it comes ejaculation.

I'm trying to decide whether to simply stick with my current ring or invest in an Osbon ring ( or rings depending on getting the right size initially and whether two would br required). So the question I'm putting out is does the notch really work in improving the ability to ejaculate?

I started using an Osbon ring about ten years ago and found it made ejaculation during intercourse more difficult than with Viagra or Trimix. Once my ED worsened and I needed two rings, ejaculation became almost impossible. However, once the ring(s) were removed, the ejaculate would dribble out.

I have used many different types of restriction rings with my Encore pump. I use 2 for sex. The type of rings don't seem to matter all that much as far as ejaculation. Sizing seems to be much more important.

The restriction needed to maintain a good stiff erection, no matter the ring(s) used, does seem to impede the amount of ejaculate at orgasm and when ring(s) are removed more dribbles out. It's hard to tell because as we age the amount we ejaculate lessens.
All that said, the orgasms are explosive no matter how little comes out.

I found the following about volume as we age:
"...the average is between 3 and 5 milliliters." "...volume is lowest once men reach 55 years and older" "The volume of ejaculation is not linked to sexual pleasure for the male or the female partner. Ejaculation and orgasm are not prolonged if the penis takes longer to release the increased volume of semen. This claim, thus, is also false."

I use 2 Osbon rings for sex. Work great. I don't have much difficulty reaching an orgasm but unfortunately it's always a retrograde orgasm with or without the rings on. Not like the old days...but I'll take it. Retrograde happened slowly over time to nothing other than maybe a tiny dribble a few minutes after.

in general when using 2 rings. do you use the tighter ring closer to your body ? or the other way around?
Thank You

Usually I use the tighter ring closer. The times I put the larger ring closer I didn't notice the difference.

I have seen both ways recommended.

I put the High Tension (D-Pink) closer to the body and position the Maximum Elasticity (D-Gray) Low Tension after. I really don't think it matters but I read somewhere to put the higher tension on first. I think it also help with removal as the max elasticity allows for more stretch and starts the flaccid process to begin. I actually place both rings on the tube at the same time but install them one at a time using the applicator.

I have lost track of which one is which so I put them on randomly and I haven’t noticed a difference in erection quality. However, putting the lower tension on the outside makes sense for ease of removal.

How do you install them one at a time? I use an Encore and place both rings on the tube.
Do you just add one ring then while still under vacuum add the other? Or add one ring then pump some more vacuum then add the other. Or after adding one ring release the vacuum then repump and add the 2nd ring?

I purchased an Erecaid.
But
I can't seal the pump around the penis, so I can't create a vacuum.
