VED confirming vascular issues?

Postby BearsWin » Sun Sep 25, 2022 7:46 pm

Hi there,

I started using a VED a week ago in preparation for probable implant surgery next month. Oral meds and Trimix have failed (the first slowly over 20 years, the second never really did much even on high doses).

I started using both manual and electromic VEDs. They do what they're supposed to I guess - blood must be flowing to the penis as it enlarges greatly. I'm doing it 10-15 minutes daily. Doesn't feel like a real erection in there though.

However, the moment I take the VED off I have zero erection, just a somewhat enlarged flaccid penis. Is this what everyone experiences or is this confirmation that something on the inside is dramatically jacked up? I can't imagine this being anything useful for my ED on its own. By the time I might manage to get a cock ring on there wouldnt' be any engorgement left.

Thoughts?

Bears, you have to "load" the fitted tension band onto the end of the cylinder, pump up your penis, and "before" releasing the vacuum, slide the band off the cylinder onto your penis. If done correctly your goal should be to get the band smoothly onto your penis, as close to the base as possible, while breaking the vacuum seal simultaneously. If the band is properly fitted for you, not because of your girth, but by keeping the blood in your shaft and maintaining your erection, then you will have up to 30 minutes of playtime. You should never exceed the 30 minute threshold, and you may want to even lessen it some to keep from damaging your penis any more.

If the flexible tension band you're using is maintaining your erection, but it seems too tight, try the next size larger and see if it works. Your goal should be to use the least amount of tension while still being able to maintain an erection. Hope this helps.

The cock ring goes on after pumping, but before removing the VED! Not after.

I've had a VED for 10 years. Like others I hoped it would help my ED.
I have used various cock rings with VED. Although it has helped to get an erection. In my case the resulting erection from VED was never sustainable for penetration.
At best it hold an erection for 30 seconds and continue to deflate.

The only exception would be if I took a viagra, would it hold. But at that point I never really needed the VED to get the erection.

My wife probably knows I have it. However we never talked about it. ED is embarrassing enough.
(meaning, I can get a nice and big erection with VED, and it's fun to play with solo. But for me its doesnt stay hard enough for penetrative sex without viagra or injections)

Depending on the cause of your ED, and how your penis works. Some guys have had tremendous success. And has allowed for more natural PIV sex.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD

I don't think there is anything being confirmed here with your penis. Using the VED to pump up or engorge your penis seems to be working. It pulls the blood into the penis by way of vacuum. When you remove the VED it is normal for the blood to leave because you aren't really experiencing the whole process of sexual arousal. There's more to all of this, than just having blood in the penis. Our brains and central nervous systems have to call everything into action so to speak. Like the other members have pointed out, in order to help hold that blood in your penis, you will need to pump and slide a ring off the cylinder and onto the base of your penis. Be careful though because it goes quick and can be quite snappy and jarring. In my case it felt very tight and clamping. Medical VED pumps are probably better designed to load and unload rings. Non medical pumps can probably do the same, but it might be more difficult. I have an Encore VED device that is made for this, but my Vacu-tech pump has a cylinder with a flared base. It would be difficult to get a ring across that flared base.
