You should be shaving your pubic hair or trimming it very short. I would evem=n have a problem with the pump trying to suck my scrotum in.
A good seal would allow you to pull the pump away from your penis without loosing suction.

I'm not familiar with this VED so I went to the following site and watched the video. https://www.vitalitymedical.com/rapport ... ystem.html
There is also an informative pdf on using this pump on this site.https://www.vitalitymedical.com/pdf/rap ... nction.pdf

I "assume" when you use it you are NOT loading a ring just trying to achieve firmness through a vacuum? When you do this the transfer sleeve is on the cylinder correctly? I see from the video the user then has to lock the pump in place on the transfer sleeve.
I would follow the steps in the video leaving out the ring parts.

I am using a vacuum pump although I cannot hold the erection obtained with any of the rings provided. I am pumping blood to my penis as a therapy until one of this days my wife changes her mind and support me thru an implant surgery.
But, I have tried many times on keeping my erection up but once I release the pressure, I lose the erection even with the smallest ring. Another thing that is bothering me is that when I apply vacuum some skin and veins from my testicles are sucked into the tube, so when the ring is released at the base of the penis, it hurts to have those veins pinched by the ring. If I lose the ring a tiny bit, my penis quickly shrinks.
So I am mainly using the freaking device as therapy for pumping blood into my penis.

josemaria: I too had problems with many types of rings not holding erections. The Osbon Erecaid rings are specially designed to block veins keeping the blood from escaping and are the only ones I found that work for me. You might be able to use them with your brand of pump and might be worth a try. One time I also sucked one testicle into the tube before I released the rings. Very uncomfortable removing the rings...I learned the hard way (no pun intended) to make sure they (testicles) are out of the way before releasing the rings and the vacuum.

Is it possible to try 2 rings? I use 2 Osbon rings when we have sex. It took a great deal of experimenting and a good bit of expense to find the ring solution that works best.

Code: Select all

when I apply vacuum some skin and veins from my testicles are sucked into the tube,

I use these and they work well to stop skin from being sucked into the pump. They ease that snap you get when applying the ring(s). They also help ease some of the discomfort from the tight rings. Finally, they make it much easier to remove the rings when finished.

I wasted $265 on an Encore erection device. Each time I pump and slip the tension ring off, around my penis, the erection points down and far right. Trying to straighten it manually causes the erection ring to leak and my penis is limp as ever.
I've contacted the Encore rep and watched the instructional video over and over. No change in results.
Wish I had never heard about this VED. To me, it's horrible and a total disappointment.
My wife and I are looking forward to a penile implant so we can have successful sex, once again.
Don't waste your money on a VED.

Jim Beam, not everyone has those results. I invested $18 in a VED, and about the same in constriction bands, work fine when I need them too. Like the commercial says, "your results may vary"! Don't begrudge someone else to try something that may work fine for them!

Jim Beam, I've been using an Encore VED for over 3 years, always a good tight vacuum and
always a very hard, erect cock. Stays just as hard when I slip off the pump and let the
rings snap on around my hard cock. You notice I said rings....I use 2 rings as do many other
people in here, this is where I learned about using 2 rings. I have the battery powered pump
head, I can control is very easily and it works very well. I am now injecting Edex for sex, but
I still use the Encore pump 5 nights a week for penile exercise. I have never had an issue
with this pump, it has and continues to work very well. I am not really sure what you may be
doing wrong but I can assure you it is probably not the pump that is not working properly.
Just My Opinion..........

My cock gets engorged, but never hard when using a VED. Is this indicative of some king of physical damage or something?

Steamfitter:
You could have a severe venous leak. Only a urologist can tell. Vacuum therapy is not really for all of us. In my case, I am using it to keep blood flow to my penis since I cannot have an erection after my radical prostate surgery due to cancer. I did not receive radiation therapy but looks like my urologist was not able to spare my nerves.
I want to have an implant surgery but my wife and family do not want me to undergo another surgery and are more concern about my survival than I am. Living without erections is not easy. I know my wife wants to have sex but she does not even allow me to have oral sex on her and then blames me for the lack of activity. I tried a sex therapist, but she acted like nothing is happening when she talk to the doctor. And after one session she did not want to continue saying she is not the one with the erectile dysfunction problem. I told her I wanted to get an implant but she told me not to count with her help for my recovery.
So I am trying to pump my penis several days a week and every now and then I use the constriction rings to keep the erection but every time I also cannot keep the erection enough even for masturbation.
I hope she will change her point of view soon. If she leaves me, then I will get the implant as soon as possible - life is short...
