How do you get a ring off if the handle breaks?

Postby BrokenPiston » Thu Dec 16, 2021 2:14 pm

I'm asking this out of precaution not because I'm sitting here with no way to remove a ring.

It seems to me some of these tight but hard-to-stretch rings could have their handles break when you least one them to: when they're snapped onto your fully-engorged penis. Any advice as to what to do in this case? Better to do know this now than when in a frantic situation since you don't want a ring on more than 1/2 hr.

I never thought about it but I'm thinking you'd want to pull on the sides of the donut to relieve the pressure in the penis, lube up, cringe a bit while you push the glans through the hole. Using a sharp tool doesn't sound too wise

I used them before my implant and the handles stretched elongated and i had to work one finger in by shaft on both sides, then two, cause it was loose on sides of my shaft, but tighter on top and bottom from being stretched thus 2 fingers.

(Thx... I could be a nervous nelly or I've just seen that cheap rings have their handles break, but those are so pliable it's less of a concern.)

Using rings for 4 years never had one break, but it must be posible, you shoud beable to get your fingers between ring and shaft and ease it off.

I've used Osbon tension bands a lot.

The idea of the ring, is to give you just enough space to drive a finger under the ring itself. Then you use your fingers to pull open the ring proper.

The handles are NOT to be used to remove the ring, they are far too weak, they will break. They are there simply to lift the ring very slightly away from the shaft, or even to just lessen the pressure, the grip, such that pushing a finger underneath is easier.

If/when they do break anyway, just drive your lubed finger underneath the ring. There is no other way. It works fine, just be confident and firm.

The rings themselves aren't actually required, I don't use them anymore. Just slide a finger under the ring.

I'd read (and forgotten) what the handles are and are not for. I need more practice then, to see how I can wiggle my fingers between my unit and the ring.

For those of you who have nylon/plastic trim removal tools or the like, such as this from Harbor Freight https://www.harborfreight.com/trim-and-molding-tool-set-5-pc-64126.html, those might be useful, but I guess the point is you shouldn't need any special tools if your ring is correctly sized.

Removing rings with a broken handle is not too bad. Use plenty of lube and pull the ring to the side like the handles would. If you still have one handle pull that. Hold it there for a while allowing the blood engorging your penis to flow out. I have always found that this softens thing up quite a bit. Add more lube and slowly slide ring toward tip. With a softened dick and lots of lube it slides right off. If when you are pulling the handle to the side you can get a finger in there that helps when it's time to slide it up and off. A lot of times I find when things go really soft I can get a finger in both sides, stretching the ring so it's barely touching my dick

When finished, if you are using a water-based lubricant on yourself and the ring, try to apply a little water to both (like you're starting to wash) everything gets very slippery and the ring is very easy to remove. Of course assuming your member is already flacid.
