Pain with VED

Postby tobenormalagain » Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:39 pm

Hello all. 55yo, healthy man with long standing ED. I just got a VED and this is my final ditch before implantation (fingers crossed). I plan to use the device in combination with Cialis for sex but in a ‘dry run’ using the pump, I get to about 50-75% erection size and the vacuum begins really hurting. What are your tips or suggestions for getting through the discomfort? Without the VED, I’m still having frequent, but inconsistent and unreliable, erections, so I know my penis can become even more engorged. Pump very slow???

It takes awhile to get up to speed with the VED. Try to be patient. Don't pump to the point of pain as you can cause damage. Don't try to pump all at once. Pump to discomfort and then hold there for a couple of minutes. Then release and repeat, etc. You will likely be able to pump up a tad more on each cycle. You will get better with practice. Have you tried practicing with the Cialis? It can make pumping easier.

Hopefully the pump you are using has a safety/relief valve. When starting, slowly add vacuum. What I have experienced is when I add vacuum there is a delayed response. My dick slowly expands in response to the added vacuum. Once your dick has fully responded to the increased vacuum add a little more and wait. If you start to feel discomfort or even pain it is time to use the valve and release vacuum.

Here is a site that has a good routine and lots of good advise. It is specific to their pump brand but easily adapted to any vacuum pump. They also explain possible reasons for pain and what to do. https://augustams.com/how-to-use-a-peni ... -exercise/
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.
