I am a 66 year old L-2 paraplegic who hasn't had sex in decades. I have a new gal now though, so we got an Encore pump. After some experimentation we learned how to give my pecker a great hard on, my gal says she hasn't seen a boner like that for 40 years. It is nice to look at and we both like the fellacio she gives me but we want penetration and therein lies the problem, you might say. When I try to push in I go limp again. I am using 2 Encore rings and I'm afraid of going to the smallest one.
Any suggestions?

I find that not only does the sleeve make things a little more comfortable but it adds a little diameter to the rings.

The foam sleeve previously mentioned can be a great asset. In addition, try experimenting with different brands of rings and combos of them. Many have success with Osbon rings. I note you state you are 66 years old. If your lady is close to your age and post menopausal she may be experiencing some dryness and thinning of her tissues. I highly recommend using a good quality lube. Again, you will have to experiment to find the right one. We use Uber because it does the job for us real well and seems to maintain the "friction" we love at the same time.

Positioning the rings (especially the little bumps that many rings have) to give maximum (optimal) compression to your penile veins is essential. Make sure they are right on and try again (if you haven't done that already).

I tried the V.E.D. and rings for sex twice. Was not satisfactory, so now have an implant. However, pills worked admirably for a time and alpostrodil suppository is a LOT less invasive than injections or implant. I have no doubt that injections would work admirably for you. Have you considered those?

I do recommend using the V.E.D. to maintain penile health (oxygenation and elasticity), but I found sex unsatisfactory, even though my erection was sufficient for penetration. It was difficult to make it behave as well as a normal erection. My penis was not stable in orientation, so had to be guided.

I usually soak the sleeve in hot water before using; then add water-based lube to the sleeve and my dick and it slides right on. While soaking the sleeve I load the rings on the pump. The foam sleeve allows the pump to achieve the necessary vacuum. The sleeve greatly reduces the discomfort of a tight ring or multiple rings. It helps remove tight ring(s) when done. Just add some more(lots of) lube and slide the sleeve and ring(s) off together.

Yes I have tried Caverject and Muse, both of which left me with half a boner and a sad look. It made my girl giggle and me want to inject another. That helped a little and I start to wonder how many of those things I can jab into myself with before I blow a valve. It could get expensive and then there's the funeral. My gal talked me out of that and now I'm giving vacuum and Mother Nature a chance. I guess what I suffer is called venous leak? Have I got that right? Caverject and Edex come in several strengths. Which strengths did you try? The cost can be addressed by sourcing the generic versions from a compounding pharmacy. I'm usinf a generic compounded version of Caverject at twice the strength of the stronger Edex or Caverject for a fraction of the cost.
