Osbon rings and silicon lube

Getting the rings on the pump and off my penis I use plenty of water-based lube. However, our favorite lube for sex is a high quality silicone based lube.
Has anyone used silicone lube with Osbon rings and noticed a degradation in the ring quality that you attribute to the lube?

I thought silicone lube was the stuff you were supposed to use. Although I usually use coconut oil.

They warn on the package not to use silicone lube. We use Penchant and Uberlube. From what I read if the lube is going to react with the silicone toy it will do so right away. When we have a new toy I usually dab a little lube on a non-strategic spot to see if it gets tacky.

Just wondered if any users of Osbon rings have experience with silicone lube.

I use Walmart’s Equate personal lube. An 8oz bottle costs under $3. Occasionally, I have found it in a 24 oz pump bottle for about $6.

I have had a dab of silicone lube on a small area a handle on one of the Osbon rings I received last week. Today I looked carefully under a magnifying glass and could see no deterioration.

There is crap in a lot of lubes that should not be put in a vagina especially an older woman's vagina. Don't know if Equate is one of those or not. We also have some trouble with water based lubes drying up and getting kind of sticky.

The silicone lubes we use don't dry up and have a minimum of ingredients. They are more expensive but very effective. The idea is to find a lube that eases the way, lasts the duration, and allows just enough friction to cause pleasure not pain for her.

I have been using Equate lube several times a week for over five years and my wife has not experienced any ill side effects.

I offer, without comment, Equate's ingredient list.

Ingredients
Chlorhexidine Gluconate
GLUCONOLACTONE
Glycerin
Hydroxyethylcellulose
methylparaben
Purified Water
SODIUM HYDROXIDE

Yes it does.

Both contain:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate
Glycerin
methylparaben

A lot of people use these lubes with no problems whatsoever. However, we prefer to err on the side of caution.
