What size and tension Osbon ring?

I’d like to try an Osbon ring to help maintain an erection. How can I determine what size and tension to order? Is there a formula based on flaccid or erect?

I started with the medium size, medium tension and it worked great for several years, but eventually had to replace with medium size high tension.

My mid shaft erect girth is about 5.5” and my Base girth is a little bit larger.

Similar to DT ... my girth is around 5.5 or more.

I use:
Beige - Large; Standard Tension Ring (A). Fits all ErecAid® models.
Inner Diameter - 22mm (0.875 in.)

and

Pink - Large; High Tension Ring (B). Fits all ErecAid® models.
Inner Diameter - (22mm) 0.875 in.

Use those two stacked together.

Sometimes I substitute a

Pink - Medium High Tension Ring (D). Fits all ErecAid® models.
Inner Diameter - (19mm) 0.75 in.

for the large pink -- for a wicked pissah tension...

Often there is free shipping for $50 orders -- so if your order those three you are over that amount - otherwise they gouge you for high $10+ shipping cost.

I ordered and received one pink high tension and one gray medium tension. I’m only 5” girth. But how do you get them on? They seem way too tight.

If you're using the rings with a medical grade pump there should be an applicator to put the ring on the pump tube and then you just roll it off onto your dick when pumped.

If you aren't using a medical grade pump you can try stretching them over the mouth of the pump tube but you will break them more often.

Alternately you can order an Encore Impo Aid Tension Band Kit which is an applicator you can use to apply the ring directly without the pump tube. It comes with 4 rings in assorted sizes.

Or if you don't actually need a pump you can try a novelty sex shop ring that is less constrictive but easier to put on and take off.

How are Osbon rings when it come to gradually losing elasticity with use? How about their durability?

None of them last as long as they should considering their cost. Making sure to lubricate the applicator and mouth of the tube does help extend their life. I can't give you an actual use life estimate as I haven't bothered to keep track but they don't last long enough IMHO.

I think I will try a couple. The procedure to load and apply looks the same as far as lubing everything real well with a water based lube.
From looking at pictures and reading about the rings it seems that orientation on the tube and on the penis is important? Have Osbon ring
users found this to be critical?

For me it was a long and expensive experiment. I had to try a number of different rings and sizes until I found what worked. What I finally ended up with was using two Osbon large, high tension rings.
I think its pretty much different for each person. You just have to keep trying until you find what's right for you.
