Gentlemen,
I'm trying to avoid getting a penile implant. Pills aren't consistent and injections have given my issues. My doc suggested I try a VED instead. As a result, I have questions.
1. I worry I might bust a vein. Is it dangerous?
2. Is it possible to avoid using a cock ring?
3. Will the girl notice a cock ring? If so how can I avoid her noticing it?
4. Will insurance cover it?
5. If you have a girl over, how do you set it up so you're ready to have her without her noticing anything?
6. Would you rather use a VED or get an implant?
Some questions before I try VED for 1st time

If you use a medically approved VED for erections as directed, it is very safe. A minor problem with a burst capillary usually resolves and returns to normal very quickly.
Some men can obtain an erection by using only the VED, or with an ED pill as well. If neither of these methods work, a ring will be necessary.
Whether a girl notices a cock ring depends on a few things. She may see it, or feel it if she is playing with your penis, but if it's very close to the base of your penis where it's supposed to be, she likely won't notice it during sex. A VED can make the erection harder and longer lasting.
Health insurance and Medicare do often cover VEDs if they are medically necessary. I paid for mine out of pocket, though.
I can't advise about how to keep a woman from noticing the use of a VED, as I'm married and my wife knows about it.
I would rather use a VED than have implant surgery. VEDs do not work for every man with ED, but they are effective for most. I suggest that you watch this video, below.

I'm in my early 70's. Serious problems with ED started in my early 60's. ED drugs were eventually not effective enough. Aquired VED pump and constriction rings in 2024 which provides usable erections for sexual activity.
