I have a inexpensive VED that I bought from Amazon a couple of years ago and it works just fine.
A few days ago I was looking through the instruction booklet for this ved and it said that this ved should be used no more than 20 minutes.
I "think" this is considerably more than I have read about veds length of use on Frank talk.
Has anybody used ved's approaching 20 minutes continuously and did you have any issues doing that?

In my experience 20 minutes is the typical maximum length of time advised for VED use. Many do prefer shorter sessions though.
Pre implant I was very aggressive with the VED. Leading up to my implant surgery I would generally pump at least twice a day for 20 minutes, sometimes up to 30 minutes. I was also using it frequently for PIV sex after all other ED treatments had failed. I would sometimes overdo it and have edema or bruising. Once I showed the bruising to my urologist but it he wasn't concerned and told me not to worry about it.
That said, I think moderation is wise. 20 minutes is usually OK as long as you are not pumping to excess pressure.
I was mixing it up using both a Vacurect "medical grade" VED and a cheap sex toy version, probably similar to the Amazon pump you describe.
Post implant I've recently started some VED therapy again for up to 20 minutes, though often for shorter periods.
But using far less pressure, as it gets uncomfortable when the pump base pushes down on the implant tubing if I pump it too hard.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.

Re: VED session time limits
I was aware of the time limit on rings, but not on the VED by itself. I have used my pump for longer than 20 minutes sometimes nearly double that time with no obvious issues. However, my regiment is to periodically vacuum to almost uncomfortable (not pain) and then back off a little. I also cycle around every 5 minutes: release the vacuum for a minute or so. I use an battery powered ErecAid VED which doesn't have a gauge so I have marked the outside of the tube where I start and ultimately pump to so I don't overdo it. I use the same marks when using rings.
