Agreed, the MVP is a great pump, and I think has the highest vacuum pressure of any FDA approved medical pump. You will get great results with this device.

The basic principle is the same for all pumps. What I've found that matters most is simple ease of use. You should be able to easily pump it up and deflate it at the touch of a button. What's important is that you can ride the pressure release up to 350.

Get yourself a LeLuv cylinder ($40) and a Harbor Freight brake bleeder kit ($25), you'll have an excellent cylinder and a pump with a gauge. Don't buy expensive setups when all you need are these. You can even purchase a pump, with a gauge, from LeLuv if you choose, you will need the hose and coupler to go with the pump and cylinder. if you do order one from them.
