I have never had concerns about nudity around men or women . not concerned about my ED but past few years not pleased about my gut ( dr said the insulin I take plays a big factor in that) so I'm now more incline to leave tee shirt on..went we went to Jamaica with friends this spring I wore a tee shirt on clothing optional beach..told them I didn't want my back to burn.
no problem with the medical profession of any persuasion handling it went through a period of time needing catheter put in due to reoccurring prostate infection almost always a female nurse usually with wife sitting right there.

I'm with you on the insulin, Scott. I"ve gained otherwise inexplicable weight since increasing my daily insulin 6 months ago, and getting it off has been just about impossible. My diet remains good and I exercise 90 mins a day, but no effect on weight. I'm not happy with my appearance and my nudity extends only to taking showers.

Unfortunately it is a fat storing hormone so, the more insulin you take the worse it will be for you. :(

Personally I'd rather be around women nude. I'm not uncomfortable at all then.
I always feel men compare. However doctors don't bother me at all. We are
just specimens to them.

I’ll never forget many years ago what happened while I was still in the hospital following one of my 18 abdominal surgeries. A nurse came to into the room with a group of student nurses and asked if I minded them tending to me. I said no. When the group left one of the student nurses stayed behind. She said I needed cleaned around my catheter as I had crust on my penis. She asked if I minded her doing it. I said go ahead. She was very careful and thorough. I had to stifle an erection because I still functioned fine. I told her when she finished she was going to be a great nurse. I’ve often wondered if I was right. She taught me that day.

I've been examined, catheterized, undergone testicular sonograms, been prepped for and undergone cystoscopic exams, and had other genital/urinary procedures, by both male and female doctors and nurses. IMHO, female medics (doctors and/or nurses) are just as professional, less condescending, more sympathetic, gentler, and more willing to discuss and explain a procedure and/or its results than most of their male counterparts. Admittedly, I was more than a bit apprehensive and embarrassed prior to my first exam by a female, but she was professional and quickly put me at ease. By the way, that doc was my wife's obgyn, and the exam was prior to a vasectomy that she subsequently performed, assisted by my wife who is a nurse. Within a few weeks afterward, I underwent a complete VA physical with a young cute female doctor. After that I was convinced that female medics were the new norm. Now, given the choice, I will always opt for a female medic

Due to treatment for prostate cancer (radiation) and due to treatment for prostate cancer side effects, I also have had many urologist exams and procedures. Doctors have always been men, but the physician assistants have almost always been women, and the nurses have always been young women. I have long since accepted that they will be professional. Once when I got the impression the urologist was giving me a choice as to whether a young woman medical student could be present for an exam, I did not object.

But I often think of the Seinfeld episode when George has been seen by a girl friend after skinny dipping in a cold pool and asks Seinfeld if women know about "shrinkage". I'm convinced that radiation had some impact on the length of my penis even when flaccid, and age and a fat pad above my penis have also made me look shorter than when I was younger. In the locker room and the showers at the gym I am not self-conscious because there are plenty of other old guys in the same boat and because men know about some guys being "grow-ers" instead of "show-ers". But recently when I was all shriveled up on the exam table because the doctor was preparing me for a cystoscopy by swabbing my genitals with cold betadine while his assistant stared intently, I was hoping that the young lady knew about "shrinkage" and that my now little guy had seen better days.

Today at my GP for a physical. Been seeing him for 30 years. Recently had a hernia operation and he wanted to look at the scar. I would have previously just pulled my shorts down to my pubic bone, but after everyone in the world has seen my junk, I pulled my shorts down exposing my new dick. In a low voice, wow , slipped out from him. He was embarrassed by his reactions. He further examined my testicles and asked if the reservoir was heavy. I explained that what he was feeling was my pump and I gave him short tutorial on the implant. His comments in the past when I asked for pills and after my RP, were like why do you need sex at your age. I think he also may have had an RP and is doing without an erection. I just don't feel comfortable giving my own doctor advice.

You would be surprised how many dudes, even doctors, have never seen a bionic dick. I would have let him pump me up. It's not like he's never handled another man's junk. He might need one himself one day. Take care my bionic brother.
