Larry's Tale

Well everybody, I am proudly bionic again. I went in for surgery on Thurs, Dec 14 in the afternoon once again, both my urologist surgeon and the plastic surgeon tag teamed me. First Dr. Brock inserted the implant (AMS LGX 15 + 2) and then Dr. Gan went in and did liposuction on my fat pad. He removed 250 grams of fluid. I mentioned to Dr. Brock that 250g doesn't sound like much and he told me that he said the same thing to Dr. Gan and was told that it's not the amount they remove that works, it's the process. While he is removing fat from the area, he is causing scar tissue which will cause atrophy and tighten up the fat pad. The area is still pretty uncomfortable but they gave me a lot of antibiotics (keeping my history in mind) and some really cool pain killers. I am still unable to sit up to 90 degrees but that's what reclining chairs are for. I did think I posted this on Thursday evening but I don't know what happened to it. I got to meet Sirsarcastic in person as we were both implanted the same day by the same doctor. I have had a lot of well wishes and I feel truly blessed. I was telling my wife all about you guys and she was pretty surprised that the Moderator would get so many well wishes.. :)

I will keep you all posted when there is something to tell.

It sounds like things went well for you, I'm happy for you. I personally feel you do a great job as moderator. Its not easy since you are trying to keep everyone happy, and we all know how tough that is.
What does your doctor think in terms of the previous infection, does he feel things are good. What do you have to look out for?
Take care and I hope you will rise to the occasion.

I was waiting for this! You deserve all the well wishes. You are so active on these boards and always willing to help a fellow brother in need.
Really stoked for you and Sirsarcastic! I only wish I could have joined bionic brotherhood on the same day like was originally planned.
Hopefully next year things will start to go my way.

Genesis,
I hope and pray you get your wish in the New Year. I had to deal with the frustrations of ED for nearly as long as you have been alive. I hope your time with ED ends soon and you can join us bionic guys in the near future. My patience was worth the reward.

Thanks to all my Frank Talk buddies. I really appreciate all the well wishes. It is my absolute pleasure to act as the Moderator of such a great bunch of gentlemen. I will keep you all up to date with my journey and plan to post pictures when the bruising and swelling goes down. :)
