Low libido

Postby sliphill » Mon Nov 24, 2014 9:38 am

Hey fellows. My libido is in the toilet. It seems to have gotten worse over the course of the year. I'm 59 and in relatively good shape. I started testosterone treatment a year ago in hopes of improving the libido. My testosterone was about 400 ng/dl before starting TRT. The first 8 months I was on Androgel, and then I switched to test cyp. I was amazed that it did not help with the libido with all I have read. Anyways, on 9/27/14, I stopped cold turkey. I was dogged tired for about month, but that has passed. Going for a blood test to see where I am at. I would like for some of the guys my age to chime in. Is this just the natural progression of things due to age. The other night I had time time wood, but only after taking 5mg of Cialis.

Before I started the Test Cyp, I felt rundown and lacked energy. It has really helped me on those scores and also increased my libido. The increased libido made my ED a bigger problem, and forced me to go the injection route. Now all's well, but my balls are shrinking lol.

Good luck dealing with this problem. I think I started the T Cyp around 3 years ago.

Hi Sliphill, you could give DHEA backed with Tribulus, the first is a hormone, which boost your testosterone, lifts your libido and kicks up your energy levels, Tribulus does the same so you get them working together, also try getting your self on some cayenne pepper and turmeric, use equal parts, this will do lots of things, cleans your blood, its good for the heart, good for the prostate, but its cleaning the blood is the best thing you can do, good blood gives good erections.
You just mix CP and turmeric 50/50 with tomato paste and thin it with olive oil, at first you just mix this to a heat that suits you, and over time you can slowly increase the CP and turmeric.
You take 3 small teaspoonful each morning first thing, before anything else, one thing it will warm you up, with this which will also help would be very fine chopped garlic, just do a whole head, chopped fine, and keep in olive oil, it will help if you add in some dried parsley, two desert spoons heaped will do in a 6 oz jar, you just add a teaspoonful on top of the CP just mix into the top take as said.
No if you read up about both the very good for ED, your heart and prostate, garlic is also very good for your blood, so along with the CP, your be doing your body the world of good.
And yes have had ED now in recovery and do take what is above along with other stuff.
See how this helps you, try it for about 12 weeks, reason for this is it takes the tribulus 8 weeks to get to full power, so your be giving it a good test.
All this I take daily its a part of keeping ED at bay after having it.
Good Luck

Hey thanks guys for the replies. I am doing 100mg of DHEA, and tribulus, but I just started a few weeks ago. Matter of fact, I actually stopped the tribulus. I will start again, didn't know it took that long to kick in. Is 100mg of DHEA an ok dose? I will try the other stuff as well.

Hi sliphill, DHEA is something you should slowly get into, till your at a level that's suits you, It can have the odd funny side effect with the odd person, things like getting short tempered, breaking out in spots like acme or oily skin, are just some, I have never had a problem just stick to 75mg a day, 50 first thing when I get up, the other 25 after our last meal, then there is a whole load of stuff I take or it seems like that, but the thing there all healthy and no drugs.
