Hi folks, I had an implant consultation with Dr Hegarty in Ireland today.
He's the only real "high volume implanter" in Ireland, does about 40 a year.
Nice man, very honest and ethical it seems. He's happy to implant me - 34 years old.
I asked about sizing he said your stretched flaccid is a good indication of what you'll have. He said if you stretch your penis with a somewhat firm tug, but not a tug that reaches a point where its sore, that's what you'll have. He said he tells most patients to expect to be 1 - 2 cm shorter than their natural erection. He said a VED or a traction device might help maximise the stretch length, it used for 2 - 3 months before surgery.
What are people's thoughts on this? He's definitely good in the sense that he never gets infections and he does a lot of revisions, but the size thing has me a bit wary.
Am thinking about going the UK and paying a lump sum out of pocket if it can help guarantee no size loss.
