Where to order Trimix?

Postby tifton44 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:13 pm

I ordered two bottles of trimix from a pharmacy in Pensacola last fall. It was around $ 38.00 to $ 40.00 per 5 CC bottle each time plus the overnight shipping. I called today to order another bottle, and they told me it had gone up to $ 70.00 a bottle!! Is there another compound pharmacy I can order from that is cheaper than this? Also, I have noticed the 5 mg tablets of Cialis from www.edmedsnow.com are $ .88 each in 120 quantities. Is this a good price, and is the edmedsnow.com a reliable place to order? I don't want to give my credit card out to some internet company that will steal from me.

Thanks.

Northwestpharmacy in Canada is probably for pills. For compounding check you local area for a compounding pharmacy.

$70 seems faily close to the market for 5 cc vial. I was using Wedgewood Pharmacy in New Jersey until my insurance stopped covering it because Wedgewood did not reveal individual component pricing. I now use Avella in Phoenix, Az. (877-546-5779) I do not know the cost because I anly pay my co-pay $40 for four 2cc vials.

Edit:
Just printed out my prescription summary for taxes and saw that the Avella Trimix total cost was $65.35 for four 2 ml (cc) vials.

I am currently using Avella, but my copay went from $40 for three 2ml vials to $80 for three 2 ml vials. The Forida company that I had been using was purchased by American Pharmacy Solutions (I believe that is correct.), and the cost immediately doubled after the buyout. The copay does include the overnight, refrigerated shipping by FedEx. Not every area has a compounding pharmacy that is sterile enough to do compounding for Trimix, but with refrigerated next-day shipping there is no reason to avoid the online pharmacies. Some compounding pharmacies are not willing to file with insurance companies, as is Avella.

Mine comes from Wedgewood Pharmacy- http://www.wedgewoodpharmacy.com/

I pay my Uro $100 for a 10 ml vial and it is the "Standard" Tri-Mix.

It comes next day air and I just pick it up at my Uro's office....works great.

If you have a prescription, you can order it direct from the Pharmacy if you like.

Cheers,

Curt
