Does family, friends know you take injections, orhave implant

Postby hopelight » Sat Jan 26, 2013 3:37 pm

Dear brothers,
Brothers who take injections or have implant, do you keep it a secret between you and your girlfriend or wife or do you sometime share it with family members. I mean does your family/siblings and friends know about your condition? I asked this because sometime I worry what if my parents, siblings, or friends find out that i take shots in my penis, and might have to get implanted in the future. Sometime I feel it's ok, i don't have to hide or be ashame of it, cause lots of people have visible disablitites they can't hide, why should I be ashame of mine. How do you guys handle it? Please share your experiences.

Regards

I believe one's wife or GF should definitely know. They will be understanding and supportive. Other family members do not need to know, as generally speaking, it is frankly none of their business. I am not saying that you should never share your person health matters with others relatives, I am just saying that unless there is a compelling reason (i.e. your cousin has ED issues and is interested in talking with you about it) no one else really needs this information.

Many of my friends are aware that I have been diabetic for a number of years. In this regard I have probably mentioned to a few of them that I also suffer from ED. However. I have never specifically mentioned using Trimix to friends and family. I attend a diabetic support group and have mentioned that I inject Trimix to them in they event any of them were also encountering ED issues.

Yes, my wife knows that I have used a pump, but now use daily Cialis 5mg, as well as Trimix when we have sex. However, I agree that even though it is nothing to be ashamed of, what you do for your sexual health is definitely not the business of your parents, your siblings, nor other acquaintances. Allow people to speculate or wonder about your sex life all they wish, but there is no compelling reason to share those details with any curiosity seeker.

Hi John, Good old Warren has got ot right, by spreeding the word, but poor Eugene soory your wrong, by spreading the word about our conditions, amongst male family members and male friends helps it to be less strenuous for them if they get it and have somedody to go for help than just a doctor/uro, when we know somdody who is exsperancing the same problems, as they say a problem shared is a problem halved, so speeding the word is important, its not like they can catch it from us.
Good Luck

As I am young, I have kept it a secret that I inject Trimix from everyone, including my gf. I just excuse myself to the bathroom before I think we are going to have sex and inject. She does wonder why I'm hard for so long even after I ejaculate, but I just tell her it must be because she is so hot :D

Sorry, NOHARD, but I am neither "poor" nor "wrong" as you have commented. I feel that there is not necessaarily a right or wrong answer to the OP's question. I believe you would be right in suggesting that we have different opinions.

In my original post I mention the possiblity of sharing with other realtives that might have ED issues. That would be valuable and helpful to both. But, what I do not think is necessary is the broadcasting of the fact that one has ED issues with all the relatives generally speaking. I am obviously more of a private guy than you and I don't feel that I need to share my personal health information with everyone. There is no need for all my relatives to know my business and there is no need for me to know about all their personal problems. I don't want to be the subject of idle gossip with those that cannot handle private and sensitive matters.

Hi Eogene, But we all see things from differant ways, if anybody asks I tell them yes I have had ED and how I got over it, but the thing that surprizes me is how you can come on like other guys and say the things they do, but keep quite amongst people you dont know but to ashamed to tell family and friends, perhaps its because we are all face less on here, and the chances of meeting are negitive, but at the end on the day each to there own.
Good Luck

PS You may not understand my phrasing, but then thats the problem being an English man, our terms are differant along with our spelling of things.

I was at a luncheon with my highschool reunion committee (we are all mostly turning 71 this year). One of the guys mentioned that one of his relatives had just undergone a prostectomy. I took the opportunity to suggest his friend check out FT and he quickly wrote down the web site. Also, one of the other guys asked me to repeat the web site so he could copy it down. I wonder if they they wanted the information for themselves without wanting to discuss their own issues with a friend.

Since I found Frank Talk, and gotten accustomed to opening up about pecker problems, I've made it a point to follow-up any mention of prostate cancer or diabetes or any of the other likely culprits with references to ED and information about Frank Talk and Healing Well. Depending on how well I know the person, I also throw in something like "I've had some issues in that area because of my diabetes and I can assure you there are solutions--other than the litle blue pill. You/he just has/have to find the one that right for him/you." The response has been overwhelmingly positive. As for details regarding my specific journey or solution (injections), I told both of my sons early on. As far as others are concerned, I don't volunteer that much info unless they ask more questions. And they do more than you'd think.
