Understanding doses of Viagra/cialis

Postby Never_Enough » Mon Dec 11, 2023 11:22 am

I find clear answers a struggle on FB or Reddit so figured I'd ask here.

As we know the max daily dose of viagra/cialis is 100mg/20mg, but what is the consensus on mixing the two at lower doses?

Reddit seems to indicate that it's fine as long as the combined doses don't exceed the dose you are allowed, but I would like a better opinion.

For example I can take 100mg viagra so does that mean I can take 50 mg Viagra and 10 mg Cialis safely?

Online generally informs not to combine the two but I am assuming that is for fear of exceeding the maximum dose.

Indeed some pills seem to include both drugs now.

If I were to take 25 mg and 5mg respectively what are the risks as opposed to taking 50 or 10 of either?

Thanks

I'll take 10mg of Cialis in the morning and then 100 mg of Viagra before sex later that afternoon or night and never had any problems.

I hope that you guys are aware that eventually the erection drugs will fail for you. Your ED will progressively worsen until they become ineffective.

I remember when 50mg of Viagra was a miracle dose. Less than a year later, maybe only 6 months. 100mg wouldn't work & gave me severe side effects for two days.

ED meds are a treatment, not a cure. Some men have success for longer than other men. But ED is a progressive disease. Meaning it continually gets worse until total failure.

I personally don't see a huge danger in above recommended doses. But the warning is to be VERY aware of the published side effects showing up. Btw, at large does the side effects might be sudden, not progressive. FT has a member that posts in the implant section. His signature says that his first less than max dose of Viagra caused earing loss.

As for Reddit. I have had really poor results getting any decent info about ED & implants there. I quit reading those subjects there. FT is far superior in my opinion. Redditors don't seem to stick with a thread long enough to be very reliable. Then you seem to always get the guy that solved his ED by some obscure method. Science doesn't work like that.

Probably won't hurt to mix those as long as you stay under the recommended dose.
But I have to agree with Gt1956. If you have venous leak it will only get worse. If you're having to pop so much drug to have satisfactory results, it's time to consider the next step.

Con fuga venosa se puede tener erecciones matutinas? Siento las erecciones más débiles al despertar.

Not recommending it or suggesting it but I would use 20mg cialis and 100 Viagra before sex twice a week with some side effects. Did this for several months before going to injections. Injections were a constant issue as I would have to increase the dosage every month or so, and never seemed to get it right! But, always more required to get benefits. This led to an implant, which has been wonderful!!
58year old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

There are several pharmacies that combine different PDE-5 inhibitors (e.g. Viagra + Cialis), I never tried that. I do combine, however, udenafil + oral phentolamine + Eroxon, which are three entirely different meds.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
