Has TRT helped anyone?

I've been having issues with ED for years. By the time I was 39, I went to the doctor. They did bloodwork and found my testosterone level was clinically low. I was prescribed viagra and sent on my way.

6 years have passed, I'm not 45. I've been using generic viagra all this time. In the past 2 years I've really had to increase the dose to see results. Typically 300mg in order to have sex. I've tried 20mg cialis and it doesn't seem to do anything for me but give side effect.

Went back to the doctor this spring and had bloodwork done. Again, testosterone is clinically low. Since then, the have had me do 3 more blood tests and each one shows the same results. Testosterone clinically low. All other things are pretty normal. Cholesterol is a bit high but nothing crazy at all.

They said they are going to refer me to a doctor for TRT. In the mean time, I've been prescribed bimix. The bimix works but I'm apprehensive about using it long term.

Has anyone solved their ED issues with testosterone replacement? If I could function normally with a daily cialis while following a TRT protocol I'd be happy.

I started having short erection duration at age 54, went to a urologist who discovered low T, who gave me a shot of T in peanut oil, which lasts for two weeks, and that solved my problem in 24 hours. He then sent me to an endocrinologist to find the root cause, because low T can be caused by a brain tumor, which can be cancerous, i.e. deadly! The answer is in my signature.

Low T causes physical weakness and depression.

I've been on TRT for 24 years now and could not be happier.

Johnson: I suggest you see an endocrinologist to be on the safe side. He/she will put your head through an MRI. PM me if I can help with more details.

:o TRT may help with exercise and building muscle but don't think it helps a lot in the Erection department.

Blood flow is what makes Erections happen.

I haven't read anywhere that TRT or High Testosterone increases blood flow in the penis.

I'm 68 and my testosterone is 870....but I struggle with ED

I've been on a couple of different testosterone therapies. Basically no effect on my ED. But it does affect my libido. If my wife is spending a few weeks at our condo. I tend to skip the shots that I now take. It lowers the "I miss her too much" factor.
