Do Alfuzosin &r Meloxicam for Prostate Interfere w/ Erections?

Has anyone taken Alfuzosin and/or Meloxicam to treat enlarged prostate? If so, did they interfere with your libido or erections?

I tried alfuzosin but it did nothing to improve my erections. Oral phentolamine is the only alpha blocker that works for me.

In your experience, is phentolamine better than viagra? Do they both do the same thing?

Apples and oranges, they are two entirely different drugs and you can't really compare them. Viagra is a PDE-5 inhibitor, phentolamine is an alpha blocker.

Maybe Alfuzosin as it’s used primarily for BPH it works by relaxing muscles around and in the prostate.

I couldn’t see anything listing meloxicam having that as a side effect it’s a NSAID similar to ibuprofen.

My recommendation is discuss it with your doctor
