Firstly, I pull back the plunger after inserting the gel in the snub nose syringe they give you with the gel order. Then I shoot it in fast and deep. Then hold my dick straight up as I squeeze my glans for about 5 mins till it seems it's absorbed and won't leak out. The results I have experienced are truly amazing in terms of glans engorgement.

BUT this stuff is very expensive. I am currently experimenting with Misoprostol which consists of PGE and costs next to nothing. In a scientific study it outperformed Trimix gel. But there is some trick to administering it and getting the dosage optimized. On my first attempt, even though I fumbled a bit, I was very impressed. I will experiment with administration and dosage some more and report back. There is another member of the Forum who has reported using Miso with major success in total erection -- i.e. he does not have an implant -- for several years!

I am as well, but having trouble keeping it inside. You say you are very impressed. So far I am not. Maybe it's because I'm fumbling. This might be weird, but I almost wonder how it would work if someone else did it. Maybe they would be quicker and less fumbling. Like I do you, and then you do me type of thing.

Are you able to insert it with an erection? Having an implant might make it easier for me in that I can inflate first and insert more easily (?) Plus all that I am looking for is glans engorgement rather than a total erection. Although having said that, the study I am hanging my hat on deals with Miso for total erections. They found that it out performed several other meds.

These were approximately equal to intracavernosal injection of alprostadil. Compared to results obtained, using other methods, e.g. alprostadil for intraurethral use, the pharmacological results of misoprostol were stronger and had a greater durability, plus significantly lower cost. It is notable that although in all cases the same dose was applied (approx. 800 mcg) so that results could be evaluated, several subjects responded satisfactorily to lower doses (100-200 mcg).

?? So, after inserting the gel, you refill the syringe with air and then push the air into the urethra??

Stmffr -- actually I meant pulling the plunger back with the gel in it, then inserting and plunging. But your question raises my interest -- inserting the gel first and then using the empty plunger to push it further might be an even better way -- for gel as well as Miso.

One problem, risk of infection.

Very good point STMFFR — I am using a bottle of sterile water, although the Forum member who’s been doing this for years says he’s never had a problem with tap water. Maybe the urethra is less susceptible to infections? But I am way out of my non-medical wheelhouse on this topic. Others?
