Gingko biloba seems to be a similar treatment, it is widely available and there are several studies / articles on its efficacy against ED.

The ideal solution would be a supplement with both ingredients.

i know gingko could be beneficial.
i just dont trust supplements, i think its just business on our problem.

i took this dopamine path since i tried subc cerebral phospholipids (liposom forte) and found it effective for my libido (i neved had any depression or anything related to what liposom forte is labeled for), but also very complicated to use on daily basis (you know, the needle)

problem is, they dont work as pills, so here we are..

also on vinpocetine and sexual response:

I went to the local drugstore and just popped a pill of vinpocetine (brand name Ultra Vinca), let's see what happens.

I now remeber that I used to take a generic version of Uprima (apomorphine) from India, called Zyprima and it was well tolerated. I guess the drug sold by The ED Clinic is much stronger because side effects were unbearable.

I tried it yesterday and I felt more energized but I have no idea if this works for sex or not.

Well, this is interesting.

If you google 'vinca minor' (which, if I'm not mistaken, is the herbal version of vinpocetine), you will find LOTS of supplements that combine gingko biloba + vinca minor.

There are studies that show that gingko biloba may help with ED, I don't know any about vinca minor.

I haven't tried it yet but this supplement seems impressive:

It contains gingko biloba + vinca minor + choline (precursor to acetylcholine)!

"This PDE1 inhibitor relaxes bladder detrusor muscles by increasing the tissue cAMP levels [17]"

the same tissue cAMP levels you find stimulated by sildenafil:

I beg to differ!

Supplements may be useful, as long as you choose the right substances and brands.

PRELOX (arginine + pycnogenol) is a patented formula and a popular supplement but only your doctor can say what's right for you.

I take a wonderful pycnogenol + other antioxidants supplement from Naturmil just before going to sleep and I always wake up with a huge boner.

Simbarn is an expert on antioxidants, he can provide more info.

True, supplements are not as spectacular as Viagra but they are definitely helpful.
