Can anyone recommend a ved device? Would like to try one, just not familiar with what’s out there. Thanks

What's your budget? The high dollar medical grade VEDs are certainly best but IMHO there's no reason for them to cost what they do. A cheaper one may well be all you need. I have both and I do like the expensive Osbon Erecaid much better.
RRP 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Wehle. Non nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 7 - 16 units. Originally Edex20 or 40, then compounded PGE1 due to cost. Inject. 14 yrs. It works. FL Treasure coast.

Kind of depends on intended use.

If for penis exercising then a low cost sex "toy" with a good cushion would be a great place to start.

If for sex then a medical grade VED that is designed for use with rings will be much better for you.
These are more expensive and can vary from $100+ on up.

My suggestion is if you are not sure and are starting with pumps is to get a cheap one and do some exercises for a month or so.
If it seems like something you wish to take further than invest in a medical grade VED.
Just be sure to go SLOW and work into it gradually.
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.
