Rigiscan, polysomnography and NPT as a diagnostic approach

Postby justwanahavefun » Fri Oct 22, 2021 7:51 am

Hi, guys.

I have some reasons to belive that my ED is mostly psychogenic and I have nocturnal penile tumescence. Does anybody know about Rigiscan and polysomnography as method to exclude organic cause of ED? Has anybody done these tests? What was your experience. Thank you

I would also like to know why these tools aren't part of the diagnostic process

I had the NPT test and it showed no tumescence during the night. It’s not common to put effort into diagnosis because the 3 possible treatments (4 if you count VED) are the same regardless of the cause of ED.
