Update: Implanted/Newest club member

Postby GLE Man » Thu Mar 11, 2021 7:29 am

As you may or may not know, this has not been an easy process. Please read my previous postings to see what I've been through highlighted by my insurance carrier denying coverage three days before the original surgery date of December 8, 2020. However, I'm now a part of the club. On Tuesday I became bionic. Obviously I am in the recovery phase now. Had my first follow-up yesterday. I'm told everything went well during surgery, I'm a bit swollen and still icing down there. I must say, for me, it was not nearly as "painful" as I thought it would be. It's more of a "discomfort". In fact, I never took a pain pill. Now don't get me wrong, it is not as fun as eating chocolate cake but I expected worse.

Now that I'm a club member, I look forward to anything and everything you all want to share with me about what to expect the next few days/weeks/months. Also, since I've been through it, if anyone has any questions for me, I will be more than happy to answer what I can and share how it relates to my experience. Just send me a message

GLE Man,
Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood.
Two simple rules about implant procedure recovery...

Rule #1 Do what your doctor says.

Rule #2 See rule #1
