Odd discussion with wife

I had an odd discussion with my wife today. She prefers that I shave my pubic area but let the hair grow back on my chest (I've been shaving both for over a year).

I have been getting ingrown hairs in my pubes when shaving and since I grow hair right up to my circumcision scar, halfway up my dick, I would like to totally get rid of all hair on my dick completely. With that in mind I told her that I thought I should get LASER HAIR REMOVAL for my hair growing on my penis because of the potential for ingrown hairs. She was okay with that and said she didn't see any problem with an esthetician doing hair removal in that area of my body. She knows someone whose daughter is an esthetician and does male hair removal (in a different state).

I said this would mean another woman would be handling my penis - she said it was fine because the esthetician is a licensed professional and that's her job. I mentioned that there was an off chance of accidental ejaculation during the procedure (very very VERY slight with me due to DE). I asked if that happened would it bother her, and she said, "No." She said it has happened to the girl she mentioned previously and it's just a natural reflex action due to the handling of the penis.

That is hard to believe, coming from my wife, that she wouldn't mind: A.Someone else handling me for the hair removal, and B.The possibility that I might ejaculate during the procedure.

It's a one in a million chance for me to accidentally ejaculate though because it takes *A LOT* of stimulation to trigger an orgasm right now due to paresthesia due to my implant last October. Just had to mention this and get any other guys' opinions on the above discussion.

She should go with you and provide you with lips and/or hands needed to cause an ejaculation before the laser treatment begins. Unless you have a really quick recovery period, that should do the trick. No pun intended.

I 2nd the motion. Have sex before the appt. Greatly reduces chances.
As for handling your junk, believe me, esp. Drs...once you seen several in a day, it becomes ho-hum.
She will find the implant, which will be different for her, but she has another appt. right after you, so she has to hurry.

Loved being shaved but hated when it became stubble. It's almost a daily routine if you want to keep it looking as clean as a baby. Having laser hair removal down there is something that I'd really have to think about, for a long time, before succumbing to that. Fortunately I have always had little to no hair on my chest, legs and arms, but since my implant surgery I've got hairs showing up where I've never had them before! Maybe the drugs jump started it? At 69 who would have thought that?
When I was using Trimix my pubes were always trimmed short, now that I've let it grow back it's thick as the jungle. Wife likes it that way, so that's my story! :)

To be clear, I'm not talking about clear-cutting the forest but setting up a nice area from the base to the circumcision scar without hair. The hair literally grows right up to the scar (i.e., up to the skin that would have been inside the foreskin if I had one). I was circumcised as an infant (2-3 days old). The skin from my glans to the scar is clear of hair but past the scar there is hair, which gets thicker as it gets closer to the base. I can shave my pubes with no problem and don't mind the occasional ingrown hair but when I get ingrown hairs and white blisters on the top of my dick though, that $#!t's gotta go.

Although less hair grows at the base of the penis and on testicles, it's usually enough to notice. Pubic hairs on your penis shaft, foreskin, and even just below the head (or glans) are also possible. Want to get rid of it? A little grooming is fine, but hair grows down there for a reason.

It's a real thing.

The healthline article considered sugaring as a professional possibility. There is a guy on the MeWe.com restoring group who gave a demonstration of removing hair from his penis using a cooked solution of honey and lemon juice. Of course you have to do it every so often, but you could try it before you do the laser to see how it goes before you do something permanent.

No, I've used shaving and various types of waxing and it's not for me. I don't feel that my dick should have hair on it and my wife agrees. It only grows from the Circ scar back so the part that would've been under the foreskin if I weren't circumcised is bare. If I do it, I'm doing it permanently. Just tonight before my wife and I made love, I realized there was hair all over again and she suggested shaving again. I noticed after shaving that I had a bit of a lump on the dorsal penis near the base (0.5-1.0" from the base). It was an ingrown hair and it was swollen. A bit of light squeeze of the skin and it popped. That's getting to be an old routine that I do not want. I just want to permanently do away with the hair at the base and everywhere further down toward the end, whereever it grows.

Could the laser procedure damage the implant?
