Finally, an affirming article about the emerging DermaSys / MED3000 treatment.

THIS ARTICLE IS A TRANSCRIPT OF FUTURA MEDICAL'S SOON-TO-BE-APPROVED DERMASYS ED TREATMENT.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/edited-trans ... 55904.html

For those of you with lots of doubts and skeptical counter-arguments to this treatment, read this. It will clear up all of your questions. This is promising! Per the article, Futura Medical has met with the FDA about this and the approval process has already been commenced.

The article is lengthy and includes the usual investor financial info. However, it devotes nearly half of it to DermaSys / MED 3000. Just scroll down to the Kenneth William James section just several paragraphs from the top.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this here, but I have a regularly updated page on my site with an overview of new treatment options. There are clinical citations where ever possible:

I have great faith in centrally acting drugs. Rexahn's Zoraxel (clavulanic acid) showed great promise a few years ago. Bremelanotide treats female anorgasmia but it works with men, too.

If MED3000 doesn't work, it's the greatest scam ever. Futura promises 'remarkable results' and is backed by several famous urologists:

Fingers crossed!

I am basically holding out on an implant until I try this.

If it is as effective as injections it would be a complete gamechanger....I just dont know though.

Medical history is loaded with all kinds of "cures" that turn out to be worthless. Lots of stuff has been tried and then found to be ineffective, or fraudulent. No reason to expect things to be different today. Caveat emptor.

This does look one of those "too good to be true" things.
A topical cream that actually works?

After having tested Vitaros, i can't really get my hopes up.
Still, it's good to see that research is being done in the field.

A quote from the article in this thread:
"How does it compare with PD-5 inhibitors? And in fact, another product that's sold in Europe called Vitaros that some of you may have heard of. We've chosen Cialis for the comparison here. We didn't choose Viagra because it's a very old data set. And in fact, the measures aren't exactly equivalent because it was in the early stages of the development of these compounds. Cialis in their pivotal studies used exactly the same endpoints as us, IIEF EF, SEP2 and SEP3. So it's relevant to do the comparison here. And we believe that Cialis in this data set used observed means, not least squared means. So we've used the -- that data set for comparison rather than the least squared mean data set. And you can see that, just at a glance, actually, that DermaSys on IIEF EF is broadly comparable to 5 milligram Cialis, maybe slightly less than 10 mg, a little bit behind 20 mg Cialis."

I understand from this that this topical gel "may" be comparable to just 5mgs of Cialis, which is a low dose of Cialis. This amount as an "on demand" use only works for males with very mild cases of ED and who are generally quite young. The 5mg dose taken everyday of Cialis is a completely different matter as it builds in the system due to the long half life of Tadalafil.
If he says it is comparable to 5mgs of Cialis, then says just a little bit behind 20mgs of Cialis, what does this mean?? There is a big difference between a 5mg dose of Cialis and a 20mg dose of Cialis!
Why didn't they compare this to Viagra? I would think most likely because Viagra is generally stronger that Cialis for a specific short period of on demand use.
Given this, It will not be any where near as effective as intra-cavernosal injections.
Age 57, ED issues for 15-20 years. Testosterone replacement with Enanthate and Ovidrel. Currently using generic Tadalafil 2.5mgs and Resveratrol daily.

We'll have to wait and see, i guess.
As i mentioned, i had high hopes for Vitaros and it turned out to be a complete failure. I believe it has been removed from the market entirely now. :/
Don't expect too much out of this. If it helps, great, if not... oh well.
