PT-141 (Bremelanotide)

Postby 9876wsm » Sun May 03, 2020 11:42 am

I’ve experienced ED in varying degrees for the last 12 years or so.
In the earlier years, I used Cialis (Tadalafil) quite successfully, until it became less and less effective about 2 years ago when I started injecting (initially Caverject and then Invicorp).
Apart from when I inject, I have almost no function. No morning wood. At best a 50% erection from manual or oral stimulation.

Although the injections are still successful, I have been missing the more natural response to stimulation (either visual or physical), so I decided to investigate PT-141 (Bremelanotide) after reading some interesting user reviews.

It’s very early days, but so far I’m very impressed.
It’s very different from injections of course, because stimulation is required and the erection is lost when that ceases, but I have experienced solid erections, easily maintained by physical stimulation (without penile injections), response to visual images, as well as waking erections.
Effectiveness of initial doses has been about at least 2 days.
Outside of actual stimulation, I’m very aware of the general improvement in libido.
I understand that response times can vary from fast to 4-6 hours - fortunately my response has been quick.
Other than flushing which fades quickly, I haven’t experienced any other side effects.

I‘m interested in starting a conversation about the use of PT-141 for men (I know that it has USA FDA approval for women).

The things I’m interested in are:-
- Other users experiences (effectiveness etc)
- Effective dosage regimes
- Frequency of use

Here’s hoping for an interesting exchange!

How much are you injecting?

It works for me as you describe it but the nausea almost makes it unusable.

Currently 1.5mg (but it’s early days and I’m still calibrating)
How about you?

How’s your response time and quality?

I'm not exactly sure I'm doing it right but I get a 10 mg vial and reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water. I've tried reconstituting it with both 1ML and 2ML. Then I will inject about .2-.4 ml's. Anything less than that doesn't seem to have an effect and I've notice the more frequently I inject the less effect it has.

But the nausea that follows is just absolutely debilitating to the point I want to simultaneously vomit and just lay down and not move. The next day it's ok though.

Currently using a batch that I diluted with 2ml of Bacteriostatic water to give 0.5mg per 0.1ml of solution, as I wanted first trials to be at low dosage and it was easier to control the smaller dosage at that dilution.
In future, I will dilute to 1mg per 10mg.

thanks 9876wsm and erik for posting bremelanotide.... Interesting accounts. Glad 9876wsm you're getting a positive reaction thus far.... Can you clear this up for me, is this pill form or are you injecting into your penis?
I'm 59 and a healthy guy but with no prostate as of 5 years ago... still struggling with things and use a pump regularly as I can. Keen to try anything ... take 10 megs of cialis 3 times a week that gives me something in the morning and makes pumping quicker ? again thank for posting
