Sexual Migraines

Has anyone had massive headaches or migraines during sex or after climax?

In November of last year I was having sex with my girlfriend and I experienced pain down my neck and the back of the head. As I moved toward orgasm the pain got worse. Finally, at orgasm I had a massive pain in the back of my head. It felt like someone had hit me with a baseball bat. I staggered to the floor on one knee. She was about to take me to the ER when the headache stopped.

I went to my doctor and he had never heard of this before. He sent me in for an MRI which came back clean. Since that night, I have had a headache everyday (usually mild) and a migraine whenever we attempt sex. As you can imagine with ED, as well as the migraines it has put stress on our relationship.

I have a February appointment with a Neurologist.

I am curious if any of you have had this before and what the solution was.

I am just hoping it's not something serious. Nothing much I can do until I see the Neurologist.

Yeah, I have but not in several years. Probably not as bad as you describe but pretty bad. Never tried to get it diagnosed as it wasn't all that common.

I do get some pretty bad headaches every so often that usually last about 3 days. I also used to get full blown migraine type when I worked nights but those pretty much quit when I switched to days/evenings. Of course none of those headaches were related to sexual activity.

I get migraines when I don't have sex for a long time. Never had one start during sex, but sometimes afterwards. Always had a migraine the morning after back when I was using Trimix.
Hope you get things figured out. A good neurologist should help, just started seeing one for migraines. It was about 3 months out to get an appointment.

Mayo Clinic wrote:Overview
Sex headaches are brought on by sexual activity — especially an orgasm. You may notice a dull ache in your head and neck that builds up as sexual excitement increases. Or, more commonly, you may experience a sudden, severe headache just before or during orgasm.

Most sex headaches are nothing to worry about. But some can be a sign of something serious, such as problems with the blood vessels that feed your brain.

I've had some in the past but not in quite a while.

I had this in my teens and into 30s. But haven't had since. But when it did happen it would lay me up for hours. Try explaining that to your mother when 18 and getting headache from masturbation.
There seemed to be no certain circumstances that caused it, one round of sex/masturbation would be fine and next would cause headache.
So you aren't alone, and if it is causing you issue you could check with dr there might be something they can do for you.

I don't think sex is causing your back pain. It's more likely that your pain is work related. You're probably overworked. I would advise you to go for a massage .Even if you don't have much back pain, it's worth going for a 대전출장안마. For example, it helped me a lot, my blood began to circulate faster, I even began to lose weight, I don't know what that has to do with it. My father thanks me for taking him to massage. His back is finally cured, he used to complain all the time that he couldn't do his chores because of his back pain. Try to drink more water and eat enough vitamins with breakfast . All in all, I hope for your recovery, I want to see healthy and happy people.
