Early signs of nerve regeneration?

Postby 84horn » Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:06 pm

Hi, guys. I am 58 and now almost 4 months post-prostate removal. Da Vinci method, encapsulated, both nerve bundles saved. I have been using Trimix for three months, three times per week. 20 units just to "inflate" for an hour of so for blood circulation, 30 units to produce a good, rigid erection for sex.

Question: What are the first, early signs of nerve regeneration? My penis now looks fuller, plumper than it used to, and I see more differential size in it during the day. Also, if I manually stimulate it, it does appear to get a bit larger (not just the same volume stretched thinner over a longer distance, as previously). I have noticed that I also reach orgasm more quickly now. I also am starting to get the old tingling sensation down there when I happen across adult-oriented content, and it visually stimulates me.

Are these the kinds of things that signal the beginning of nerve regeneration, or is this something else.

Appreciate your thoughts.

84,
I've posted this question on a few of the PCa sites I belong to. The answers vary, and everyone's experiences are different. I am 14 months post RP, and have kinda stalled at where you are right now. A definitive answer is so elusive, keep up with the penile rehab and the Trimix. All signs for you are good. Would like you to keep us updated.

Horn,

I'd say the signs you are getting are encouraging and give hope. How much previous function you will recover will be known when you get there. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any standard to go by. But I'd find those signs reason for encouragement.

Good luck on your journey.
