The URO surgeons never tell you what you will need to do to keep your penile tissue healthy after the RP. It is quite extensive. I started right away with the VED. 1/2 hour every day then a trimix shot every 5 days whether I was having sex or not. Usually just masterbated while I had it hard. They should tell you what you are in for.

I don't know if they think it is not their responsibility to explain in detail the results of surgery or even radiation. Or, maybe they are afraid men once informed will elect to not have the procedures. They are not fully doing their job in any case.
Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.

Agreed....they are not disclosing future consequences. Would have prepared myself better..
Age 80 good health. Radiation prostate 28 hits 4 years ago with 6 months of horrible ADT. Good recovery and ED worse.
Can't tolerate oral drugs but 5 years of Alprostadil 40mcg/ml 25 units is a miracle for 3 hours. GF is happy!!
