The best possible testosterone therapy is regular exercise and a healthy diet. I swim regularly and afterwards I feel 20 years younger.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Thank you all for the advise. I will be sticking around here and contributing where I can. I am over the injection idea. Meaning, I will have to do what I have to do. As for now, I will take it day by day. Being intimate with someone again is all that I want right now. Not just sex, but a deeper connection. No matter what the future brings, I will pursue that.

Thanks again.

Increasing your T level rarely has any noticeable effect on fixing ED. Studies have shown that around 5% of men get an improvement in actual ED with a raised T level. I myself have proven that over years of injecting T on a weekly basis. One thing about it will however make you think there's an improvement, that being your greatly increased libido and overall energy level. As for the advice you were given about raising your T level with exercise... I have a 33 year old neighbor whose property is a small ranch bordering my land. The guy is a whirlwind of physical activity all day long, rain or shine, heat or cold. He still has to inject 1cc of T weekly to maintain a healthy level.

My anecdotal evidence story is I had excellent erections but no interest in sex. That was the reason for my doc to check T levels about 11 years ago.. was 239. Been on
daily gel therapy since then with levels hanging in 600s. Sex desire returned. Unfortunately,, within last year have maintained sex desire,, but erections disappeared. :( So.. I'll
second comment that low T and ED certainty not related (in my case). Also agree that exercise, nutrition, proper rest, etc all help in good levels of T... but certainly do not guarantee you won't need supplementation.
Age 75. ED bouts increasing in frequency and duration in older age. Multi year history of high BP and meds. No diabetes or prostate issues. TRT gel started at age 64. T b4 gel 239. T with gel mid 600s. Current ED treatment = VED.

I'm only 33 and got into a new relationship just about a year ago dealing with a ton of ED issues. One thing that really helped me was being honest with my lady about the issues. While it was incredibly embarrassing and hard to talk about one I did everything got easier.

Don't hate on the injections either. For virtually no pain you get a 2-4 hour long stiffy that stays rock solid even if you were "done" in 2 minutes so you can go the full 2-4 hours non-stop -OR- you do round one, rest for a few minutes, then startup round 2, rest afterwards and if your in the mood, you go for round 3. Being able to go 2-4 hours with a porn start stiffy reliably anytime is pretty awesome.

And almost all of us have at times injected more than once daily. Not going to kill you if you have a super special day where you want to be with your partner 10 times. Just make sure your stiffy goes down for a bit before another injection...example: morning & afternoon injections will basically keep you in bed all damn day.

Just take things one step at a time. Follow your urologist’s recommendations. Try the pills or injections and find what gives you the stuffy you have been missing.

Then go on some dates and enjoy yourself. There are LOTS of options to help you overcome your ED. It will be OK.

Testosterone injections are the worst possible solution for ED. There is no actual evidence that high testosterone improves ED and all anecdotical evidence shows that TRT results are disappointing at best. And if someone says that regular exercise is not good for you... well, I guess that's not very sensible, now is it?

I live in Portugal and the whole country is shocked with the tragic case of Angelo Rodrigues, a 31 y.o. actor who is now fighting for his life and may have to amputate a leg because of testosterone injections. And before these tragic events, he had already been hospitalized because of kidney stones caused by these injections.
