prostate cancer study

Postby Frank Talk Admin » Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:51 pm

guys,
This researcher from Australia is looking for men who have been DX with prostate cancer and wants to know whether or not you used an online community for support.
Here is her info.
***********************************************************************************************

A research project by PhD Candidate, Denise Pyle, of the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, is exploring Online Prostate Cancer Communities to try and enhance our understanding of who use them, who do not use them, what influences men to use them and what deters men from using them.
Eligible participants are men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (time since diagnosis, stage of disease, treatment type etc. does not matter).
Participation initially involves completion of a baseline questionnaire which can be completed online via this link: https://surveys.usq.edu.au/index.php/295823?lang=en.
Participants will be eligible to enter a prize draw for the chance to win one of three $200, $100, or $50 (AUD) prepaid VISA gift cards.
It is hoped that this research may lead to the development of strategies to encourage more men to participate in these forums.
For further details contact Denise on: Denise.Pyle@usq.edu.au or +61 0433 069 922.
