Implant Symbolism

Postby DaveKell » Sun May 12, 2019 4:35 pm

I've mentioned here before I'm a songwriter. To which I'd add there is some interest building among an elite group of Nashville artists who've been impressed with songs I've posted. I've been trying for some time to think of a way to write a song about my implant. It would have to be totally obscured in a reference to it being something else altogether that would function as a symbol I could openly write about. All I have in mind so far is a few potential chorus line about being "happy as a hummingbird with you to come to for your nectar". Then again, that might not be in it all but saved for a different composition. Anybody able to think of a potential reference to an implant that could be openly sung about with the real intent being totally hidden?

So probably not "Rubber Dickie"?

Since you referenced a hummingbird, how about a woodpecker? ;)

We’ve been together girl, It’s been awhile since our start
Every day’s been good, well, a bump or two
Our bond, well we’ve grown closer, no, never further apart
My heart fast pumping, it pumps for you

Oh, pump it up Babe, You pump it up
You know what turns you on girl, turns you on
Oh, pump it up girl, just pump it up
As hard as you want girl, that’s what I’m counting on.

You know I love you girl, I think I know you do, I do
You hold my heart babe, my soul is all yours
I don’t always show it girl, I can’t, but for sure I do
My passion hot girl, hot only for your allures

Oh, pump it up Babe, You pump it up
You know what turns you on girl, turns you on
Oh, pump it up girl, just pump it up
As hard as you want girl, that’s what I’m counting on.

Just playing!
Sorry I didn't help with the symbol thing.

It would appear I’ve found a co-writer. Loved the woodpecker suggestion. Maybe I could do a birds n bees theme.

For C&W - Truck Crane: Image
Or for little dicks a Pickup Truck Crane: Image

I'm a truck crane baby, turn me on and crank me up!

For the city slickers you could always do an elevator: I'm like an elevator baby, keep pushing my button and get me up!

This is fun, even with no talent.

PS: Oh, oh, oh I'm a bean stalk babe, and I have a magic bean just for you. Squeeze that bean and I'll take you to the clouds too!

I'm an oak babe, I have a special acorn for you. Squeeze it hard and it will grow a strong tree for you!

Help me, I can't stop!

Start by reading the lyrics to "Good Old Wagon" (attributed to John Willie Henry) of which there are probably several versions. This one is how Bessie Smith sang it.

lookee here daddy, I wanna tell you, please get out o' my sight
I'm playin' quits now, right from this very night
You've had your day, don't stand around and frown
You've been a good ole wagon, daddy, but you done broke down

Now, you better go to the blacksmith's shop and get yourself overhauled
There's nothin' about you to make a good homin' for
Nobody wants a baby when a real man can be found
You've been a good old wagon, daddy, but you done broke down

When the sun is shinin', it's time to make hay
I've seen 'mobiles operate, you can't make that wagon pay
When you were in your prime, you loved to run around
You've been a good ole wagon, honey, but you done broke down

There's no need to cry and make a big show
This man has taught me more about lovin' than you will ever know
He is the king of lovin', has manners of a crown
He's a good ole wagon, daddy, and he ain't broke down
