Testicular atrophy after 8 years of TRT-any help?

Postby Bassman8416 » Sat May 11, 2019 3:11 pm

Hi,
The title says it all. My testes are shrinking along with my scrotum to the point when I orgasm, its a little painful along with very little semen. I have had sever ED through the years, I respond fairly well to Levitra in the morning. Recent bloodtest reveal normal levels(according to my endocrinologist)... 850 peak and 445 trough. 100cc per week of test cyp.
Is there something I should inquire about with my endo or urologist? I have been seeing that Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG)is a possible solution, but many doctors are not hip to this?
I appreciate any insight and guidance relating to this.
Thank you kindly

By all means talk to your Uro. I did HRT for a year and my nuts shrunk down to marbles. My purely non professional opinion is that with HRT one's body sees no need to produce testosterone and the testes shut down. After stopping my nuts are back. Not huge but they never were.

Yes. You need hcg. This maintains testicular function.

I was on T for 5 yrs decided to get off of it because it didn't do anything for me ED wise. So talked to my doc about starting Clomid or Clomiphene Citrate...worked like a charm. I took a two month regime of it and my T level since taking it hangs around 400 (it was 200 before I started on T).
