Also, the method of measuring. Do you measure from the top looking down? Or pushing in from the side? I mostly hear the correct way is from the top, push in to the bone and measure that way. However, I get an extra 1/2 inch from the side :D so I prefer that way!

That's a lot of foreskin. But, then again, I cannot really have much of an opinion, since I have not had a foreskin since shortly after my birth.

I always thought the measuring of ANYTHING was for two purposes:

1) Comparing with other things of the same type. (For example, a horse's height is measured from the ground up to the top of the withers. If we measured from the ground to the top of the head, the measurement would not be comparable to other horses.

2) Comparing one thing at different times of its life. (For example a horse at one year old, two years, three hears, etc.) For this purpose, a measurement must be tightly controlled and repeatable.

Measuring a penis from the side fails at the first purpose unless everyone provides that measurement as well or a conversion factor is provided. I believe it fails at the second purpose because repeatability (compared to measurement from the top) is not as rigorous.

Now, if all you are concerned about is a number that impresses you in your own mind, I suggest measuring in centimeters. ;)

Yeah, the side measurement can be a bit more ego boosting. For an even bigger boost measure from the crease of the groin.
;)
I apologize for that right there. Be there with the starving pygmies in New Guinea

Measuring from the top, bone pressed is the most common method used to compare your erect length to others erect length.

If you are measuring your erect length over time, any method is acceptable as long as you do it the same way each time.

Rounding CM is not all that "impactfull" as rounding inches tho. 14 or 15, it's practically the same.
Also, it's quite silly how we always tend to measure length, while in reality that's the least important factor of a penis. Width and general shape are way more important in terms of eventual partner sensation than length.

Well....just ask my wife who loves being stretched long-wise too. :-)
