Yeah, I understood that the phimosis was painful and was a cause of his ED but he believes that he will have ED caused by other issues even after the phimosis is addressed. I'm hope and pray that after the phimosis issue is resolved he finds he functions fine.

I am 22 but only had one sexual encounter that was when I was 17 and my problems also has to do with being uncircumcised so it's not just a pure Ed problem. Although I would still have Ed after I get a circumcision.

Larry,
You should re-read the threads: https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11897&start=10 (especially page 2 and 3)
and https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11951

Paul's earlier post in the first thread said it well:

you have a lot going on. Take care of phimosis first, as other guys said. After that, please step back and let sexual medicine experts help.
Before deciding on an implant, you have a long way to go. First, I would strongly recommend you get to a good sex therapist as well as a psychiatrist for an evaluation. You might have an anxiety disorder which is preventing function. This might need meds as well as therapy. they have to be the right meds that don't cause more issues. You need a sexual medicine specialist to help sort this out. where do you live?
It is VERY common for young men to have a very hard time with erections. I would definitely start with injections and see what happens. but you might have underlying physical conditions causing this. your goal should be to diagnose and take care of your health. The ED is almost always a symptom of something else.

OK, I never noticed that one because it is not in this topic. With all the posts I read, I cannot be expected to remember and match up every post with every member. :)

Cosmopolitan Magazine: E.D., Young women & Young Men

Hannah Smothers requested men in their 20s and 30s for research on this article. She asked permission to post (in the "General Discussion" arena) and was given it. The results might be interesting.

It appears Hannah Smothers found enough men to write her article. In case anyone would like to read it, here is a link. Or you could buy the magazine.

https://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/a ... young-men/

Edit: I just read the article. The treatment of the subject is a bit shallow (at least, for a man who knows the ins and outs of E.D.), but has some VALUABLE wisdom for women. Many women know NOTHING about what it is like from the man's point of view and thus have a skewed view of it from the distaff side of the experience.

It is valuable for any man to know what HER emotions over the event (non-event) are, as well.

The article also has some links that appear to be VERY valuable for men.
