Nerve pinch that sends a pain down your leg. I speculate that the muscle contractions involved in orgasm might exacerbate a slightly pinched nerve. Maybe not in the same place that the sciatic nerve is usually pinched, or maybe not even that particular nerve.
As I said, this is just a wild speculation. I don't know of any way to test the theory.
Good luck.

That could be it but, I have my doubts. Because of my back injury, I suffer sciatica all day, every day since Jan 17, 2011. Sometimes I get what my doctor calls Acute Sciatica, which is sciatica that is much more intense at the moment. I have never had a sciatica attack that did not require medication. If Andy's goes away by itself, I doubt it is sciatica... I think you are on to something when you say nerve root pain though.

Bulging discs I have make very specific activities cause pain sometimes due to a particular nerve root off the spinal cord being affected. An mri reveals these issues in great detail. So far, following a vehicle accident this past June, I've had two vertebrae fused in my neck. This has mostly alleviated the pain I felt when I laid my head down to sleep. I'm hoping the rod implant surgery I have coming up will fix the lower back problems. No problem with it when I try to sleep, but sitting up in my work stool painting signs is something I'm only able to tolerate a few hours at most. In my experience, specific activities can be affected while nothing else is! It certainly sucks that your particular activity is ejaculation. I know for me, that activity involves tensing my legs all the way down to curling my toes! Only a suggestion but something you might want to look into. I'm not a doctor, I've never played one on tv, only with Susie when I was a child. Therefore, I withdraw from consideration for the supreme court.
