Took a Sleeping Pill -- Didnt Feel Erection in Morning

Hi guys,
I've had ED for 22 years now and I'm 47 years old. I get very few morning erections nowadays. When I masterbate I do get erections but not as satisfying as before. Last nite I took a sleeping pill known as Ambien.I dont take sleeping pills. The last time I took one was 3 weeks ago. Before that it was months before. I normally dont have trouble sleeping but I only took one last nite for some stress I felt and to help me relax more. I woke up 5 hours later and I felt a little weak and cold down there. Could this be temporary or permanent?

I'm not sure why you'd assume an event that happened once would be a permanent condition. I wouldn't make that assumption.

I take 5mg Ambien every night due to back pain and arthritis. Sometimes double up if having a bad day. I use trimix and Ambien has never had an effect on getting erection.

Did Ambien ever effect your ability to orgasm. I take it occasionally and when I've taken it several days in row I've had trouble with orgasm not with staying hard.

No, I'm just saying that an event that happened once shouldn't be considered the new normal. You should find out soon enough whether it's permanent or not.

Can you explain it a different way? I really don't understand what you mean since it was only a pill. Can one single pill do that?
