Thanks so much for sharing Two Step.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that I have some sort of adrenaline/hyperadrenergic issue, which is why Botox has become an interesting avenue for me, though what you've mentioned here does give me some pause:

"The rationale for this treatment seems to make some sense, but the intended effect (blocking norepinephrine to relax smooth muscle) seems quite different from the standard pathway that Botox is supposed to work on (blocking acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction in skeletal muscle)."

PDE5's sort've work for me, but I need to take an above max dose to even have a shot at intercourse....and even then, it's not a sure bet. I'm hoping that Botox + PDE5's together can get me all the way there.

Unfortunately, it's really hard to find info from dr's or patients with experience trying Botox for ED...

There's one doctor that I found that actually does fillers, not botox, for ed (Dr. Cheung in NY)....not sure what to make of that either.

Here is a very recent medical study supporting Botox injections for ED. Note that it mentions there was also an increase in length, but not girth.

Sounds promising and interesting. Hopefully these new and upcoming treatments will be covered by insurance. I was wondering is it a one and done procedure or do you have to keep having needles injected into the penis?

Botox typically lasts 3-6 months.

Sounds very interesting. Did you do the injections yourself or through a clinic? Is botox injected into the corpus cavernosa...the same as trimix?

Yea I did it myself but since I suffer from cvod the effect was only a few hours. I suppose it will help in arteriogenic impotence only.

I am unsure how this would even be possible. Botox is not supposed to have any effect for a few weeks and then the effect is apparently constant for 6 months or more.

What you describe sounds like an Alprostadil/PGE-1 effect.

As I said before
Even alprostadil will effectively only in arteriogenic or venogenic depending on extent of venous leak .

really ,you did it yourself ? interesting . where did you find the botox available ?
in the study it said it took awhile for its full effect and lasted about 6 months . but the most effective amount was 100 units .
this was study was with men that did not respond to pills . 40 percent had success with "penetration" 60 percent got erections .
